  1. I have for sale a very good condition ONIX H34 tube integrated.  It is really powerful for Klipsch use but it did fine with my K-horns, La Scalas, and RF7 (original series).  I have down sized into some Cornscala type speakers and am using solid state (Aragon) for now.

It has a phono input but not an actual phono amplifier.

    Technical specifications:

    Frequency response: 18Hz to 30kHz
    Power rating: 40W x 2
    Input impedance: 100K Ohms
Output impedance: 4 or 8 Ohms
    Input sensitivity: 300 mV
    S/N ratio: >90dB/THD 1% (standard tube spec)
    Dimensions: 19" W x 7.5" H x 11.5" D
    Weight: 56 lbs.
    Tube complement: 4 x EL34, 2 x 6SN7, 2 x 6922, 2 x 12AT7, 2 x 12AX7

I would prefer a local sale but shipping is possible as I have the original  box for this amp.  It could get pricey for shipping.  I could also meet a reasonable distance from St. Louis on a weekend.

    Thanks,

    Troy

  2. I have a pair of B&K Sound Type CS 400/6000 crossovers for sale near the St. Louis area.  SOLD5a6ca66d7a760_2018-01-2710_03_53.thumb.jpg.081ab92d774e6312eebb28398bfc6021.jpg5a6ca67460e00_2018-01-2710_04_01.thumb.jpg.0d3ba202664079d8f01c94769ac10fa6.jpg5a6ca6776ef00_2018-01-2710_04_08.thumb.jpg.b9cee766abc72a935db7f0d04372ea69.jpg5a6ca67ae3d50_2018-01-2710_04_24.thumb.jpg.25082dc709ca0651b69874d3a13ad6f4.jpg dollars shipped will take less for local purchase no shipping required.

I have had these for around 6 years maybe longer don't recall exactly.  Purchases as I build a Cornscala using OE Klipschorn drivers and only built one test speaker before 'life' got in the way so only one was used the other was hooked up to verify operation is fine.  Probably 100 hours time on the one I used most.

When I built my test speaker the room was untreated and I spoke with Bob Crites and he sent me some other Sonicaps that he felt would tame the sound I was getting.  I treated the room properly and never needed the Sonicaps.  I don't recall where in the network they were intended to be installed but they are included.

Shipping will be USPS ground in the CONUS included in the price.

Local purchase near St. Louis, MO is welcome.

    Thanks,

    Troy

  3. The items have been sold, thanks for your interest.

I have an SW-15 subwoofer that has a failed amplifier and have decided to part it out.  From it I have the 15 inch 4 ohm cast frame woofer and the 15 inch passive radiator.  Both are in great condition and the woofer measures 4.1 ohms.  The surrounds are very nice rubber and the dust caps are in great shape.  Movement is smooth no noises or binding in the suspensions.

I am near St. Louis and would consider shipping if you don't mind paying actual cost.  I will sell together for both items 100.00 plus shipping if needed or separate $75.00 for the woofer and $35.00 for the passive plus shipping if needed.

  4. SOLD

Looking to sell nearby St. Louis my pair of RF-35s owned since new and well maintained.  These got me started - first pair of Klipsch I purchased and led to many others.  I listened to these in comparison to my RF-7s and except for a slightly less open top end, they compared favorably.

They can be seen and demonstrated in my home and I hope to sell local if possible - not interested in shipping as damage is too likely.  I have factory boxes in great condition.  The feet are intact and the grills attach with magnets so no broken grill pins.  They look almost like new never abused.

Price is SOLD - thanks for looking.

  5. I have spoken to a gentleman not far from St. Louis who is interested in the entire purchase which would mean no shipping and no breaking up of the items.  I am going to hold off for him to get the female approval - or at least make up his mind.  This is a recent development.

Thanks Matt for the response and yes these items are just about like new condition.

  6. Matt,

Since I could tell you were a true Klipsch fan I found the plaque that I had never done anything with since buying it at least 10 years ago and decided to throw that in.  I am down sizing.  Glad you finally got the 7s and hope they arrived in the condition I left them in.  I hope that set will always have a nice long life, well cared for.

Before I bought the 7s I had purchased a pair of RF-35s from the smaller listening room from my local authorized dealer.  I walked by the larger room and the RF-7 had command of that room.  I knew at that moment that one day I would step up to the RF-7s.

    Enjoy,

    Troy

  7. I understand the wish to have things separated.  I bought them as a whole purchase and for now I am interested in selling as a complete set.  I could entertain splits later.  I would also entertain an offer without the extra JBL tweeter I have listed.

Matthew I will reply to your email.

  8. Correct me if I am wrong.  I am going off remembering that at one time ALK Engineering has horns built by Martinelli before the relationship with Fastlane Audio and the Fastrac horns.

I purchased all of this from a gentleman from Cincinnati around 7-8 years ago and I don't know how long he had them for before me.

  9. The items are no longer for sale.

I have a package of parts to upgrade a pair of Klipschorns.  There are three JBL tweeters included as maybe you would like to have a spare or you might want to do a custom center channel some day.  There are:

    • Two ALK Engineering Extreme Slope Crossover for Klipschorns consisting of:
      • Two ES400 Woofer to Squawker Crossovers
      • Two ES5800 Squawker to Tweeter Crossovers
    • Two ALK Engineering Klipschorn Squawker and Tweeter top hat inserts with Martinelli Sound wood tractrix horns and correct speaker grill covering consisting of:
      • Two JBL 2404H Tweeters (Baby Cheeks)
      • Two B&C DCM50-8 Midrange Drivers
    • One spare JBL 2404H Tweeter

These items are heavy, large, and delicate so shipping is something I would prefer to avoid.  I am in the St. Louis area and would consider meeting you part way around the area on a weekend if reasonable distance.  The price for all of the items listed is $2800.00 $2600.00.

  10. Haven't noticed any issue with wood grain being different.  Sure they are a little different they have to be it is a natural product and no two are alike.  They reside on opposite sides of the room and the fronts are black.  There isn't enough of a wood difference to be noticeable unless you were looking for it.
