  5. mrj, Don't listen to these guys!! Those are only worth about $50 bucks. I'll get rid of those for you. I got a truck, I'll come and pick them up. What's your address?
  6. HVLP, that's really the way to go! Really looking good, Marion. Armando
  7. i understand. will check it tomorrow at work. lascala1983, i'm sorry about that. you can't go wrong with the universal crossovers. al klappenberger made a list of ways to save some money in building them (part substitutions), without dropping the quality of performance. i'll see if i can find it. armando
  8. it's nice to hear that you had a great time. i know what you mean, i had to do the same thing for my wife. any plans to bring her to the states?.
  9. she's pretty. china's half around the globe from georgia..... thanks. my wife and i might go home in october, and we'll probably stay in manila, too. we're both from rizal. yeah, i hate the air quality there. armando
  10. (sorry, lascala1983, just a quick question to marvel) hey bruce, didn't you say you were planning on going to the philippines? exactly what part?
  11. all four. Also, if I decide to change the crossover point, say just for the low, for a different driver or bass horn, I only need to build that section and not the entire crossover.
  12. And the high section. I terminated all the transformer leads to the terminal board, making tap selection changes easier.
  13. I split my universals into low and high sections, thinking that if I upgrade later to a gentle or extreme slope, I can do it a section at a time. So far, I'm very happy with the universals. I've not heard a system using extreme slope crossovers. Maybe when I do, I'll do the upgrade. Here's the low section.
  14. mas, those are great ideas. be careful with what you post on this forum though. someone has been stealing ideas from forum members, and applying for patents for them, and the man is very good.... a very good THIEF that is..a real pro.
  15. Its better to make that mistake in typing and not during construction. Cut and paste will be much harder.[]
  16. Jordan, I can't find where it says to cut off the mouth by the thickness of the mounting plate. On page 13, though, it says "Cut off the neck by the thickness of your mounting plate".
  17. here you go, jc, based from table 1, edgar's article.
  18. At that point (11 inches from throat), the sidewalls are almost at 90 degrees to the axis. Like you said, it's not a big deal. I have an autocad drawing of this jc. I'l find it and post a printed copy.
  19. That's really nice to know, Dana. It gives me more motivation to build another one. Flare Analysis_Classic.pdf
