If anyone is looking to upgrade thier AVR Best Buy has the Pioneer Elite VSX-53 for $500. I picked one up yesterday and have it up and running...nice!

I have the VSX-1121--K with the OPPO 103 and SACD playback works very well so I'm thinking your experience should be equal if not better.

I received my copy today and was able to enjoy it before work. I wasn't real impressed with the video but the DTS soundtrack was amazing!

I recently picked up the VSX-1121K from an authorized dealer for $369 and I think the shipping was free. An awesome unit but many people have reported a few quirks about the unit. I reccomend it.

It has never worked streaming it through the AVR via the internet. I can log in okay but listening to a channel is a no go. I stream PANDORA through the AVR via the internet and it works great.

Yes I have the tuner module ( SCC1 ) and it is not the issue. The streaming of SIRIUS over the internet using the AVR is the problem.

I have been having trouble getting SIRIUS to function. I can log on with no problem but once I select a channel to listen to I will get an error " track not found ". PANDORA functions okay so I know my network is okay...any ideas?

I just noticed PANDORA has bee added to out HD DVR. Sound quailty seems okay but I think the quality is better through our SONY TV.

I've owned Pioneer for the past several years and love their sound with Klipsch speakers. i looked up the LX55 and it appears to be the same as the 1121K. I recently ordered the 1121K and had several issues with it and returned it. The 1121K appears to have some user reported issues although not many it seems more than usual for a Pioneer. If I might suggest look for the European model that would match the VSX-1120K. It would have no issues running your speakers and should be fun at discounted price being it is last years model. Sending this back Monday. This unit is suffering from every bad thing I have read about it...disappointing. I'm thinking I will just keep the VSX-1120K.

I really don't care for it. I think it will come to pass.

I have a new Pioneer VSX-1121K on the way. Does anyone here have any experience or comments about this unit?

I've noticed a couple of times sound quality being bad, but most of the time sound quality is very good. I have DIRECTV HD by the way.

My Dad has had my Elite DV-59AVi for the past past 3 years and after buying him a Blu-Ray player for Christmas I have brought it back home. All I can say is "WOW!" , this thing still sounds awesome!

I use the Quintet SL's with a Sub-12 for my HT setup and couldn't be more happy. Take a look at them if you can still find anyone that carries them.
