  1. There may not be many with the exact combination you’re wanting opinions hence the few comments. I’ve heard a lot of shite but not the Schitt you’re referring. I can say I thoroughly enjoy my LS along with several other Klipsch models with good solid state - First Watt F3, J2 and M2; Benchmark and even Hypex nCore’s. I think you’d be floored how good the LS will sound with high quality solid state. In fact several First Watt offerings and/or the Benchmark might have no intention of remaining a “back up” amp.
  2. Depends on who is offering the discount. I understand Putin is sitting on quite a stash of fuel. Whether or how he offers a discount will need to be negotiated-
  3. Not enough skills to link, maybe some assistance, check out Sergio Acedo with his four piece band doing Rock with You on YouTube. Impeccable timing, perfectly tunes drums, never a missed beat, smooth as buttermilk. Nothing extremely flashy but I bet I’ve watched this two dozen times —
  4. — — as can Tarheel, he’s a fan of OB. He may comment -
  5. I believe the “underground” Jubilee also uses twin 12” drivers -
  6. Being kind of a Mopar fan - the 6.2 is the SC Hellcat based engine, I owned one. They made a 6.1 naturally aspirated SRT years back. So for current V8 gas it’s the 5.7, have one in a 300, 6.4 and 6.2. If you’re getting the V6 Jeep don’t expect it to break any records mileage wise, it’s gets no better than the 5.7 V8 in the new 300. We have both.
  7. A 5.9 Grand Cherokee still with a lease? And unless you installed a power adder I’m not aware of a 5.9 producing over 500 hp. As they say - GLWS
  8. The parked under a sap tree would bum me out. I am OCD on all our vehicle appearance so this is my red flag. Since you know the owner ask if you can take it somewhere for a good washing and look the paint over for acid etching of the clear coat. Honda quality or not, paint damage is paint damage. And if the clear is damaged the depreciation will be far greater.
  9. A couple things here - Westy, this doesn’t deserve your meme😉 Rich - we will give you our itinerary in advance. Although you should consider it an honor meeting the likes of CEC and myself. Just sayin’ -

Ahhh - you’re making me blush - behind my mask of course😷 But let’s address “ wise beyond his years, which are numerous”. While numerous is a relative term there is some truth in the statement. I believe dust is the next stop should I make it beyond my numerous years -
  11. Hey, if the guy who developed a universally accepted payment system, parlayed that into the electric car phenomenon, launches vehicles into space and lands back what was once considered “disposable” billion dollar hardware, then more power to him.
  12. Forte was the “step child” of Threshold, featuring NP of course. I owned two, maybe three Class A Model 4’s power amps. SorrySuperb amps for today’s money. Sorry I have no experience with their preamps but should perform very well - . Owned a couple Threshold preamps which were excellent -
  13. Correct me if I’m wrong as I’d like to know - All “chip” amps are considered Class D but not all Class D are chip amps? I own a true chip amp based on the 3875 and also have Hypex nCores which I don’t believe are chip based?
  14. I’ve always thought a rig worth $150K should sound “pretty good” -
  15. Re Audience Hidden Treasure outlet. Not only do these guys compete with Tesla and Einstein with their pulsing of electrical currents to “condition” the electrical connections but they delve into metallurgy also. To think they have developed their own “proprietary Rhodium” is very impressive and further proves their competence in all things audio. This, along with technically well written mumbojumbo, leaves me no choice but to place my order. I’ll take half a dozen -
  16. If I’m not mistaken a Toolshed tube amp with volume control and a Primare solid state integrated were used at a Klipsch Pilgrimage three or four year ago ? Each was A - B’d in the demo room by a Klipsch employee. I doubt this would happen today as Klipsch has teamed with Cary for the Cary Heritage line to match with Klipsch Heritage. Yes, they are lookers with great build quality.

Boys, boys - no better way to have your posts deleted or close a thread. Suggestive criticism is verboten -
  18. Little ol' Mc MA6200. Second system with a rare Pioneer Elite PD 93 CD player -
  19. Yes I will. And to turn the tables on Rich when he buys 3 P5’s and finds he needs but 2 it is this third cast off I’ll report on. But my offer to RP is $250 not $300. He shouldn’t have been so greedy to buy three. Just because you have a lot of money doesn’t mean you should flaunt it - 😏
  20. You’re correct in that I have no data or listening experience to back up my opinion. Admittedly it is my Nelson Pass Labs bias who is quite clever himself without infringing on others past work. And helll for $350 I may well give it a shot.
  21. Rich It is not going to stack up to the “space heater”. I doubt the Topping will give the listening nuance of a Nelson Pass design. I’ve convinced myself Hypex nCore doesn’t and I’d bet this is no better or not even as accomplished as Hypex. It’s winter, so cozy up to the J2 and be content or make yourself even happier and buy another watch - 😉
