  1. I think I'm prepared for No, Jubes are not considered part the the true Heritage line. But if these are PWKs years long answer for a two-way Klipschorn doesn't that open the door for discussion? And they were HIS final, crowning achievement. Discuss ---
  2. I own QS horn monos and yes the 25 watt rating is more than sufficient overkill for LS or nearly any othe Klipsch speaker. And yes the amps themselves are very quiet but need a correspondingly quiet preamp to remain quiet at the horn. Most folks just don't understand the "push" good tube amps can furnish. My well implemented 2a3 2.5 watt mono blocks can also run you out of the room, a good size room at that. You have a PM --
  3. ^^^^^ Current status -- Grining!!
  4. ^^^^^ I agree Ceptor and what's the big deal with a multi-pin cannon connector? Whatever the hell that is ---!
  5. ^^^^^ There are numerous tube amps, from both companies and well regarded individuals, built in the US, Too numerous for me to mention but a few might be Decware, Quicksilver, VTL, Manley, Rogue, Audio Research, Conrad Johnson, etc. And of course the venerable McIntosh. And dozens of highly respected cottage industry builders such as our own Craig Ostbys NOS Valves. If you are interested in tube amps sourcing one should be of little concern.
  6. So what do you think - JBL? Altec? Any clues I have missed? Mac's for sure at top center ---
  7. Nope - keep that bass bin open! The LS dog house is what draws the eye. Especially when you put the wraps on that big mid-horn. Come on, Cincy -
  8. I betcha' those Kentucky chromes are a good match with his Kentucky waterfall hairdo? Steel toed slippers for a relaxin' day at the plant ---
  9. In KS we are very liberal, open carry is legal no permit, license required. Even though I thought TX laws would be as liberal if not more I still thought best to contact TX Hiway Patrol before heading there for a motorcycle ride. Telling the officer my intent he welcomed us with open arms, loaded firearm tucked away in luggage. I asked about loaded piece in my coat on my person where he said "well if your pulled over and it's found on your person, I'm afraid your going to have a bad day". It takes a license to carry in TX apparently.
  10. ^^^^^ You know, I have an affinity for scrambled eggs with duct tape bacon! Ummm goood !! A Cajun receipe I presume?
  11. Whatever do you mean, sir? I think the speakers you refer were only a figment of my imagination??!
  12. ^^^^^ I've heard these very speakers, they sound fantastic. No worries here ----
  13. I see nothing wrong with those, wouldn't bother me in the least to wear those in public. I actually kind of like 'em, very avant garde, ahead of their time for sure. But then I'm a tight asss with low self esteem --
  14. ^^^^^ Oh boy --- here we go -- Dont we hear enough of this crap in the news?
  15. ^^^^^ Sitting in a car with a dead battery and you are posting on the Klipsch forum? That is dedication, my man! Good luck -----
  16. I have some nice Quartets, baby brother to the Forte and designed by the world famous Roy Delgado, that need a new home. They could be shuttled to the Klipsch gathering in Hope, AR end of April.
