I thought it a good thread, talking about Klipsch Professional, the mighty 510 and 402 horns of which I own both, Jubes, 396, LaScala, etc. etc. But with one wrong step out of bounds you get the flag. And don’t bother throwing the red challenge flag, not worth your time and/or effort to try to bail what appears to be a sinking ship. Almost sad to see from a twenty year member. Calling Elon - Elon!?

My findings and your statement on the “game changer” of 2” inch exit drivers ie K691/510 continues the theme of the dominance of Klipsch Professional to their consumer line. Along with openness, detail, accuracy I’ll add effortless -

This is somewhat an orange vs tangerine comparison but my 396ll w 510/K691 combination pretty much lays waste to my stock LaScala mid/tweet top end. And I’m surprised to say as much as I love LS horn bass the 396’s with a moderately sized sealed sub is a force to be reckoned with. The 510/691 combo doesn’t put fear into the 402/Faital HP but it sounds really, really good. I’m pretty sure it’s superior to the stock LS top end.

Talking-heads on a couple business outlets say Twitters actual value is between $10-15B. Saying this goes down as one of the top five blunders of business acquisitions. But he’s also smarter than the average bear and will most likely be drinking sweet lemonade from the rotten lemons he bought. After all in just a relative few short years his team is able to recover once disposable rockets that government backed NASA never had the foresight to accomplish. Like most projects of this magnitude only time will tell if Twitter will tweet or have its wings clipped -

My crowd days are over too. Jazz shows at the junior college music hall, 3-400 people. More my speed these days. But always wanting to optimize my time, I trim my toenails during the show. No one’s objected - yet.

There in lies the problem, I was not aware I enabled BitLocker. So, to my knowledge, I never knew of a key to save. I’ve been chasing my tail trying to log in to my account (account doesn’t exist) start a new account using my email or phone number where an account already exists or the code sent to access the BitLocker won’t verify. And of course there is not a human to assist. How it’s acceptable for a company to lock you from using your own property is beyond me. I’ve basically given up but know I will Never buy a machine with MS software again.

I have a year old Dell w/MS 11. Only use it with an external hard drive to feed a dac. About three weeks ago machine goes into BitLocker security mode. No way, no how have I been able to obtain the security key required to open my own machine. At this point I own nothing more than a folding plastic panel. The frustration level is beyond explanation -

Thanks Dave. Great explanation of a highly technical subject. Taking your “no dips, down to the speaker” comment to another level I find placing the preamp close to the ceiling, followed with the amp(s) a couple feet lower and the speakers of course “downhill” from the amp(s). There’s no doubt this sloping effect “turbocharges” the electrons as they race to the speakers.
For those that can’t comprehend the equation just visualize a downhill skier going faster and faster - you’re welcome.-

Monitored with a dash of personal invasion. I mean how else would I get an invoice from the NJ Turnpike Authority for my license plate number (counterfeited) being used to run NJ tolls? Oh yeah, it’s a motorcycle plate currently on a bike of mine in my garage.

I suggest you you move on and worry about much more pertinent things than whatever the forum is turning into. I tune in several times a day but will still sleep like a baby when the lights are turned off.
