  1. I've been trying to make my photos smaller for 30 minutes using postimages.org and Gimp and MS Paint, and I cant get any of these to work. Over and over and I can't figure this out yet. If you want to see my Klipsch KP250, send me a note and I will send them to you. Arg!
  2. This is a very nice all original Klipsch KP250, and not the more bright and brittle sounding KP250 II (which I don't like as much). This speaker and all internal components are all original and is in excellent condition. People in this forum know more about Klipsch products then I ever will, however this is a 3-way speaker with a tweeter (k-42), mid-range horn (k-53), and the woofer (k-79). This is an excellent vintage speaker, and I am hoping for $350. These have a binding post (banana) input and a female XLR input. Rated at 150watts, these are designed to be pushed loud with a high output (up to 122 decibels - loud!). I only problem is that I only have the one speaker. If interested, please call, text, or email me back. The speaker is in Walnut Creek, CA but I teach and travel to downtown Berkeley almost every day and I could show you the speaker there. Shipping is an option we can of course discuss, however this speaker is 46lbs. It sounds really great, full, and loud. MnKGC7C[1]
  3. Hello Everyone, It is Wednesday, Sept. 28th, 2022 and I am happy to say there is a local sale pending on these speakers. The transaction should happen on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022, when I will remove the ad. I am very grateful for the kindness and informative words given to me by this forum. You people are the best. SOLD SOLD SOLD 10-02-2022 $900
  4. Hello Klipsch people, I am Michael (aka kirbyshingus) a Klipsch forum newbie from the San Francisco Bay Area. I have a pair of Klipsch Heresy speakers, their Klipsch Heresy Industrial Ported (HIP) speakers that appear to be in perfect working order. Their sequential serial numbers are #1943 & #1944, after reading articles in this forum, I believe they were likely made around 1979, but a Klipsch Heresy expert, which I am not, would be the person to ask. I understand that the majority of people reading this know way more about Klipsch speakers then I will ever know. All of the components and crossovers are original and unaltered. These speakers are heavy, and were apparently designed for installations in venues and churches. They sound just beautiful, very full and clear. I was really surprised at their sound in clarity and fullness. I am from Berkeley, CA and am fortunate to own some other speakers made by a local company called Meyer Sound, and these actually held their own in sound vs. the Meyers I own (which is saying a lot). I am at a loss about what to price these and wanted to see how people might react. I hope I am not being too bold by hoping for $1000 - $1200, I understand they are not extremely common. I saw a pair that sold on eBay for $1260, I'd love to match that, however mine are not in mint condition. My eBay name is marimbamike1, and ideally, I'd like to sell them locally. However, I am not opposed to shipping these (relatively) heavy speakers since the majority of people looking at this ad are not local. Again, please forgive my boldness in pricing. If I am way off base, I will know very soon. Thank you.
  5. Hello, This is my first post. I'm trying to bring a pair of the original Chorus speakers back to life. Both of the high and mid drivers have no output. I ordered new diaphrams and I hoping for the best. I'm wondering about trying to get speaker covers fo these speakers. I know that the speakers aren't in the same place on the Chorus II's. I read that the Chorus II speaker covers attach with magnets, where the Chorus I's have eight holes on the front. Can anybody tell me if the covers are the same size? If a modification can be easily made? The Chorus II covers are still available for $55.14 each. I am a musician and I use the KP301A in my live rig, they kill. Thanks.
