I contend jim is talking about the Lounge because the section y'all are referring is called The No Bullshit Forum--In the last place it was a mixture of the two but people got their feelings hurt and the rules were changed....Sarcasm is allowed but usually doesn't add much to the discussion except for self-pleasure--Don't get me wrong, sometimes there are some great zingers, but the Lounge is where practitioners of sarcasm rightfully flourish, if that is their goal. Flourish it is!

But the cables are so good, it actually makes the sound immune to primary reflection points... I never got that about power cords, you have cheap wiring in your walls etc so why would the last 3 ft of "nice" cable make any difference? Blasphemy!!

Is this really the case? Can the 30's support (correctly) those tubes other than the 6L6GC? Aren't some of the voltages required for those tubes different than the 6L6GC? And if this is true, do you know if this is also the case with the MC240?

May I have (purchase) whichever ones you decide against? Seriously....
