i personally think my Alessandro MS-1's are the best that $100 can buy.

if the earphones experience microphonics, i hear a shirt clip helps minimize or sometimes even eliminiates it...

i'm assuming one of the RSX-3's included in the ifi?

If your AVR's got 3 pair of RCA outs, you can just buy 3 RCA-to-Mini adaptors and plug them into the Ultra's. Another option is if you have a digital out from your computer's soundcard, you can hook that up to your AVR digital in, thus, only using 1 cable instead of 3 cables you would use in the previous solution....

M-Audio Revolution 5.1 here. No real complaints. I've had it for about 2 or so years... I use them with my Ultra 5.1's, iFi's, and there's also a little headphone amp for my Alessandro MS-1's.

If you have the new insert for the 60gig iPod, then it should fit the 80gig iPod video. From what i understand, the 80gig iPod video has the same dimensions as the 60gig iPod video... edit: spelling.

Not quite 2005 as toddvj said. As usual it was released right on the end of 2004 (Dec 17th). Aviator put me to sleep during parts of the movie, it finally came alive at the end especially with the trial, and the flight of his big plane. Serenity some people liked others didn't. Personally I liked it, but then again I liked Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV series! i stand corrected about the Aviator, I enjoyed Buffy the Vampie Slayer as well, never really understood all the hype about Firefly though (which may be why i didn't enjoy Serenity) Another movie that also comes to mind was The Longest Yard, it just didnt live up to Adam Sandler expectations imo...

i may get flamed for this, but i think the worst movie of 05 is The Aviator. Maybe it was because i saw it on a cruise ship and their speakers weren't really good, and the fact that the showing started at 1am...but 3 hours....i didnt get anything from it... ...also, i didnt really really like Serenity as well... *puts on firefighter suit*

to the best of my knowledge, universal remotes use infrared, but the remote on the i-fi uses radio frequencies...so i don't think the i-fi remote can be programmed into a universal remote (unless there is a rf universal remote out there...)

any speaker wire will do radio shack and home depot...those seem to be the cheapest place to get your wire. imo, no need for monster.

thanks darkpark, i'll give that a shot this is what i plan to do... uninstall my current driver (omega) then use the driver cleaner and re-install the omega driver. if it freezes or randomly reboots, i'll uninstall the omega use driver cleaner then install the 56.72 driver from the nvidia site.

i dont believe that was the case, i dont do windows updates...all i have is the SP1 for winxp. hmmm this morning when i woke up, i checked my computer and it did freeze...so idunno...i'm gonna try this driver for another week or so, but i dont think it's too much of a problem.
