I have to relate this: When I was 5 and in kindergarten (private, public was not available in those years) it was always a race out to the "recess" area. I had never been the first to get there and that day I was in the lead! I was yelling with my mouth open and running when a bee flew into my mouth and stung me on the roof of my mouth. I still remember that feeling of that 64 years later!

I have been going through some old papers to toss. I clipped this from the Hope Star during the 1980 election.

That is an actual doll of Betty Davis' role in Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte from 1964.

I am pretty sure this was 1979. Next to the last one in 1980 when someone invited a reporter to the event. Lots of people you may know.

I moved to Hope in 1976. The rest is history!

Watched mine several times. Saw this tour while visiting my son. Great show and great venue at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga, CA.

So I was diagnosed with lung cancer. Very small tumor. Had a lobectomy. Got all of the cancer. It hasn't spread. Surgery was 11-6. Sent to ICU on the 8th with pneumonia and sepsis. Forced out of ICU last Friday evening (good thing!). Been in a private hospital inside the original hospital. Big problem is I also have pulmonary fibrosis which has come on with a vengeance! Never experienced more pain in my life than the lung surgery. Couple of takeaways: If you have cancer with pulmonary fibrosis, don't do surgery. The other; politicians should stay out of medicine. This day and age there is no reason for anyone to be in pain. What is so moral about forcing people to suffer? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
