  1. Here's one more.I've decided to give up on the idea of using the 902 driver with the 511B horns.I guess I'll use K-55s instead.I'm going to start the assembly tomorrow.More pictures will be coming soon.
  2. I've got all the parts cut for the bass horns. It's amazing how many parts go into the construction of a K-Horn.
  3. I couldn't imagine ever turning these things up more than 10 or 15 watts per channel.
  4. Yeah I saw that too.I'm wondering if it makes any difference that I'm using Al's network design instead of the stock Klipsch A series?
  5. I'm going to use the 511B 902 combo in K-horns. I'm assuming I would make the same autoformer adjustment?
  6. I've decided that instead of modifying my corner horns, I'll sell them to a friend of mine and build some new ones. The idea is to upgrade the existing Klipchorn cabinet design to something more exotic. As far as components our concerned, I'll be using K-33 woofers, Altec 511B horns with 902 drivers, Beyma Cp-25 tweeters and ALK design crossover networks. I am going to try to post pictures of the project in progress.
  7. Hey Al, What driver would you recommend for the 511B horn? I noticed you used JBL drivers in your Belles. Thanks,Bluesboy
  8. I'm using a Klipschorn bass bin.
  9. I have a pair of corner horn speakers that I built myself. The crossovers are ALK designed. The speakers are currently equipped with K-401 horns and K-55 drivers.I am thinking about switching to Altec 811B horns and 808 8A drivers. Can I do this without modifing the crossovers? I'm also thinking about replacing the T-35 tweeters with Beyma CP-25s. DIY Corner Horns,McIntosh C-26,McIntosh 2505,Micro-Seiki DD-40 TT with Grado reference master,Pioneer RT-909 reel to reel
  10. Where do I find the updates and modifications section?
  11. Does anybody know where to find a set of plans for the Belle Klipsch?
  12. Hi Guys, I have a pair of corner horn speakers that I built last year. They have Al Klappenberger designed crossover networks. Thanks again Al for all the help.I have a question. When I turn my system off I hear a whoosh sound followed by a fairly loud pop.Is there some kind of filter that can be installed to fix this?
