Oh, as the previous fellow mentioned having pre-outs. That is something I wanted and got on my 400.00 delivered to my door Denon #685 so I can add a seperate amp in the future. ......P.

We did not need the home theatre hookups so I went for more power, 100 watts versus 45 watts. Sure more power makes it sound much much better but if I were to do the reciever thing again Harmon Kardon or Marantz would be my next choice. Denon has a dead quiet background and crystal clear sound but maybe Marantz or Harmon K. would have a richer more mellow sound to it which I personally would like better. Seperates are my next adventure. More power alone makes a huge difference. Enjoy the search for satisfaction for there are many many many choices. Good Luck .............Pat

I use bare wire but it would be cleaner install if they were terminated with something. When I upgraded to Monster brand wire from rat shack ther was a substantial difference in sound and I only use a reciever for now. Never heard of fibre optic speaker wire...... ....Pat

My Dad had a serious denial problem with it most of his life as well as my older Brother who I have not seen in 10 years or so. At work Ed went to some place for a few weeks to kick the bad habit and has since been a whole new person. My younger brother....I just wish he would quit that d_ _n smoking.....man that stinks. ..Pat

Yup Fini that's the one....small clean and simple ... it could blend in anywhere. For something so small the sound (IMO) is pretty darn good long as you don't crank it to oblivion. Make a heck of a gift for someone needing sound in a room .....an expensive gift. ..

Hi Max, Here locally Tivoli is sold in the "Hi End" store along woth all the other goodies that cost megabucks. Nice looking radio in general......never had a chance to listen. And boy is the WAF ever high around here. Boston Acoustics has a small radio, (similar size) for 160.00 that sounds pretty good with the very simple controls which is rare for a boombox/radio now days. .....Pat

At our local Best Buy they are giving out some sort of preview CD's.........I don't know about this one .....a really old movie in the year 2004???????

My best tweak was when I changed my lightweight Rad Shack speaker cable to 12 gauge Monster brand cable. Putting those Home Depot 12' square concrete pads under the kg 4.2's also helped tremendously. .........Pat

Snakes! ? Since my knowledge of snakes is zip I must say heck no they are creepy. Was on vacation one time and in the middle of the dirt path the snake was coiled up sleeping or whatever he thought he was doing and I came within 12" of stepping right on him. Oh man......in the middle of a State Park nobody around to help and in a state I knew of no doctors office. Snakes.......no I'll pass, thank you very much. ..Pat

Life is good........! When we changed from dial-up to a cable provider the change was unbelievable. It still amazes me how fast this thing is and we just have a very low memory modest old computer. Enjoy.. ..Pat

One of the best ones we have is the cartoon Ice Age. The first five minutes or so when squirrel stomps the acorn into the ice. We don't even have a subwoofer and I play it over and over again sometimes. Yea I know I'm easily amused! ..........Pat
