  1. I couldn't read anymore after seeing someone judging speakers they've never heard. Let alone, La Scalas
  2. Negative, I do use shops around the country when needed. Most of my tuning is via etuning anymore. On platforms I've done a lot of, I don't really need a dyno. When I get one-off builds that are big, or a platform I have not done, I'll use a dyno. And sometimes, I only push the power at the track as power like this has a short shelf life.
  3. That 16" would be great with my La Scala's, but the footprint is just huge. I was going to buy an SVS PB16 Ultra, but thought it was too big, so I have a PC4000, which takes up the same floorspace as the sonosub I previously built. If I still had an actual theater, this would be a no-brainer. Now that I just use my living room, it's not even a WAF thing... I get tired of clutter.
  4. I'm a Cobb Tuner for Subaru and other platforms. You don't need to build an engine for a tune.
  5. Pffttt... Sounds like it's ready for more power. 😛
  6. If only you had some sort of machine that could move stuff and due werk. Got a tune on that Subaru yet?
  7. Scratch that... I'll be there Friday night and be able to actually attend on Saturday. My daughter has a softball game. I told her it was my day that day, but I lost. EDIT: Crap, looks like the listening sessions are only the 9th and 10th.
  8. It's looking like I'll make it for Friday, so I look forward to hear the Jubilee's! My wife will think nothing of it and will only do this with me as it will be my bday that day. Perfect timing, right?!

  10. Put some Morimoto XB headlights in my truck as the halogens weren't cutting it. Also replaced the halogen fog lights with Diode Dynamics fog lights (has fresh clear bra on the lens). I did a quick alignment of the lights, but will have to clear stuff out of the way and back the truck up to do it properly. I also replaced the intercooler and charge pipes with a Mountune setup.
  11. I lived in Bellevue for 8 years and worked at Offutt. I actually built a theater in my basement out there. It was pretty sweet, all Klipsch and SVS, but we didn't use it all that much, so that's why I just have a big TV and speakers in the living room now.
  12. I can do that? What part of Omaha do you live? The Heresy's that I refinished have been made at home in Omaha... As well as my Klipsch sonosub.
  13. I lived in Omaha from 2008-2016. My wife grew up in Greeley and about half of that town is her family. I get out to Nebraska many times a year.
  14. Omaha and Greeley. I have all that.
  15. When you can weld, it's all pretty cheap and easy.
  16. Wanted to drop some weight off my trailer, so I ordered an aluminum one a few months back and picked it up in South Dakota on a family trip out to Nebraska this past weekend. It drops 700 lbs compared to the other one I have and is easier to use.

  18. I don't know what these are worth when used, but I know the $156 shipping charge would be a no-go for me.
  19. I've been plenty happy with my CT120's, A-55-G's and A4500's. I will be giving some ALK CSW-450's a try here soon... Still curious to hear any difference. I did put in new K-33's though. I did look at Crites' site last night out of curiosity and boy have those prices gone up!
  20. I had RF-62's for about 10 years and loved them. Never thought I'd get rid of them. I then bought a set of 1978 La Scala's and the RF-62's got sold shortly after. Every time I hear them (every day as they come on with the TV), I am still enamored by the big sound, even at low volumes. I sometimes hate that I love them so much, because they are large... but again, you hear them again and you remember why you keep them.
  21. I'm actually considering going to this as I now live about 3 hours away... and it happens to be my birthday weekend, so the wife can't say no.
  22. Phantom isn't bad, but with some La Scala's, I originally ended up building my own center channel that was hidden as a mantel, which worked extremely well. Since moving from that house, I have gone with an RC-64 III and really enjoy having a center again. If I absolutely had to do a phantom center, I could do it, but I prefer a good center channel speaker.
  23. It's a 2020 Branson 2505h, nearly new. Paid $18k with the front loader, backhoe, and blade. All the tractors in this size use nearly the same parts. Almost all use the same Yanmar 3 cylinder diesel. I narrowed my search to a few different make/models and looked for the nicest one I could, with the attachments I wanted. The backhoe alone, if you had to purchase separately, is like $7k+. I hadn't heard of Branson or Yanmar (they makes tractors too and I actually liked their offering in this category), or many other tractor brands, but I have never shopped for a tractor before.
