  1. SOLD! For Sale: Harman Kardon H-K 730 receiver. This desirable vintage receiver is in excellent condition and is in complete working order. The H-K 730 is often considered to be in the same sonic class as many of the old vintage Marantz receivers back in their hey day. Many Klipsch fans speak highly of the H-K 730. There are no overly serious marks, scratches, dents or any cosmetic flaws of any serious consequence. It is not perfect, please see the photos, but it is in remarkable condition for it's age, and one of the nicest I have seen. In July of 2020 I had Stereo Rehab of Chicago do a complete inspect and recap of the electronics (see receipt). Sounds very nice and has a sweet smooth sound with good power. As is normal for this type of unit it also has AM/FM and a phono input. Ready for demo and pick-up in Sycamore, 10 miles west of St. Charles, IL
  2. I have one of these on my computer desk top system. Very nice and very quiet. Small too. I would be unhappy without it. Great price. GLWS! d.
  3. I had the same good results in 3 separate pairs of HERESY I. Very attentive and quick service from Jim also. d.
  4. Not mine. Might be just the right finish/model for someone. $1,800 Franklin, IN Facebook marketplace. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/642658707284146/?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3A9a1d726f-f833-462a-bb3b-ca5d3e73a835
  5. Thanks everyone for the suggestions and messages. This is a great forum! A fellow forum member has stepped forward and offered me a wonderful K-22 that will suit my needs perfectly. Thanks, dwillie
  6. Good luck in your search for a re-cone kit. I would have pursued that road myself too but my speaker frame was damaged in a big way.
  7. Thanks for the information on the K-28K, and I understand they work fairly well as a substitute. Also I have been told by a few that the K-24 from the older Heresy II will work well too.
  8. I have an unrepairable K-22 in my vintage Heresy I that needs to be replaced. If anyone has an extra single K-22 for sale (or a comparable Klipsch alternative), please contact me. Thanks in advance. dwillie.
  9. Looks good in walnut! d.
  10. Chorus speakers have been sold. Thank you. d.
  11. Posting photo's are not working for me today🙁 Until I get things straight, use this link for the ad and more photo's. https://chicago.craigslist.org/wcl/ele/d/sycamore-klipsch-chorus-ii-stereo/7289529623.html
  12. I have decided to sell my Chorus II speakers and thought I'd see if there is any interest here. I have a lot of photo's but I'm having a difficult time posting them. If anyone would like to see more photo's send me a PM and I will send them out. Also not mentioned in the ad I have the Ti diaphragms installed in the tweeters, and the originals are included. Thanks, dwillie. I have for sale a pair of Klipsch Chorus II speakers. They are in a rare dark Oak Oil finish from the factory, with the hard to find brown cloth, and consecutive serial numbers. These speakers are in magnificent condition, and as you can see from the pictures the grill cloth is tight with no snags or stains, and the Klipsch emblems and rear tags are present as should be expected. The corners and edges are sharp with no bruises or dents. The tops and sides have a beautiful and striking matched wood grain, and the smooth oiled finish has a nice subtle shine. The Klipsch Chorus II is a 3-way system with a 15 inch woofer in the front and a 15 inch passive sub-woofer in the rear. The middle and high frequencies are both horn loaded for clarity and high efficiency. These speakers sound remarkable, with a very powerful sound that is not lost at lower listening levels or sounding out of control at higher listening levels. Included with the Chorus speakers are custom cut smoked glass tops for extra protection and new up-graded crossovers installed from Bob Crites. One passive sub-woofer on the rear of one speaker has a dent in the dust cover that is the result of moving the speakers from one room to another. This can't be seen from the front and does not affect the sound in any way and can be repaired very easily. The Chorus II's are set up and available for listening, feel free to contact me with any questions. a Klipsch 2 - Copy.HEIC
