  1. I am in need of a 100' length of cat6 cable for some home networking. Never bought that much length before and don't really know where to start. I noticed mono price has some to offer, and under $15.00. Seems almost too inexpensive (?). Any one know where I should start, or have any advice? Thanks, dwillie.
  2. "Old and cold" "Don't give it away. Throw it away" I have two older black-faced Crown DC300II's and am very happy with them. I also have a Crown DC150 and have no complaints although the power difference is obvious between the 300 and 150. Also have a Crown Micro-tech 1200. They all sound nice and I use them for different applications. They are not boutique, but I never had a problem with a Crown.
  3. I would love to try one of these, and you are just a bit north of me. Very tempted! Once in my hands, I would want to get it looked over, cleaned up and back in top shape. Maybe a re-cap if necessary. Anyone doing this kind of work in the Northern IL or Southern WI area? dwillie.
  4. Anyone have some Quartets for sale? Favorite is oak but love 'em all. Thanks dwillie.
  5. Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. Sounds like Flicker is the popular choice so I will take a look and see where it leads. imgur might deserve a look too. d.
  6. I used to have a membership on SmugMug and have to say they have a fantastic program. I am finding I just don't need all the sophistication, choices and options that SmugMug offers. Can anyone recommend a photo hosting site that does the job simply and easily? Thanks, d.
  7. did these speakers ever sell? dwillie.
  8. I have a single K-77 tweeter that I have kept for a spare for many years. I have now sold my Heresy's, and my La Scala's have the square magnet tweeters. So this one is now for sale. $65.00 If interested send me a PM or email. dwillie.
  9. NIce set up! NIce guitar! Welcome! dwillie
  10. I have some empty walnut cabinets in average to nice condition. If you have the parts they might be an excellent solution. I am in the Chicago area. dwillie
  11. I really like the Minimus7's. They were readily available at Radio Shack for years and they must have sold millions of them. For what they are (a "mini" speaker like the a/d/s), with a sub woofer the sound is surprisingly pleasant. It is unfortunate they carry with them the image of Radio Shack because this is one product I think they did well on. dwillie.
  12. Klipsch will always be my favorite, but when I had to go small for desk top use, I also chose the a/d/s L300's. Fantastic near field sound, especially with the subwoof. dwillie. http://salvage77.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/ADS_L300.jpg
  13. These Cornwalls look great in person, and Duder's a good man to work with. dwillie.

  17. Many years ago I had one like this (this one not mine). Guild Blues Bird. Very nice at the time. d.
  18. That was fast. Happy it's going to be put to good use. dwillie.
  19. Going through some things here in the basement shop and I found an extra logo that might help someone out. Not everyone needs one of these, but the one fellow Klipscher who does, well here it is. Yours for no charge, just let me know by way of P.M. why you need it, and where it will go, provide me your address and I'll send it on for free. Happy to share it, maybe I can ask a favor some time. d willie
  20. I am looking for a nice, but not perfect, pre-amp for a 2nd bedroom system. I have a Crown amp and some Heresy's I'd like to make use of. Anybody who has something interesting to let go of, let me know. I would consider just about anything of quality. Thanks, dwillie.
  21. Ha!! We're talkin' De Kalb/Sycamore. Way out West!! d.
