  1. Mark, What other brand would work, for a 2" compression TWEETER ? Whatcha using ?
  2. Cesar, WE need to find out what TWEETER driver is used ! I assume they are 2" compression tweeters ? Does anyone know that answer? *WHAT DRIVER is used for the 3-way Jubilee TWEETER ? Then, I can get a few more of those k-510 Horns . Then , I'd grab these Crossovers, for some fun.
  3. I like the idea of using on amp with a 3-Way Jubilee !! I have 2-way Jubilees , using Faital Pro compression drivers. ~I assume this 3-way crossover is specifically for the Klipsch components that come with the Jubilee 3-Way, correct ? If I went 3-Way , I would certain consider buying these crossovers . *What Klipsch component model # is used for the TWEETER duties, with THIS crossover ? Is it readily available to buy to add to a 2-way expansion ? (OR, can any other BRAND Tweeter be used with this specific 3-way Crossover.)
  4. I believe ADAM Hall purchased that spcific, and also become a Museum member. I will hit up the Garage sale area. Thank You, ~Craig

  10. The 5.1 setup is finished ! A few aerial view pics , standing on top of my sub,...is the RIGHT SURROUND located far left in pic, ...with Bass Trap on top of the surround K-402 Horn/ Klipschorn combo's.. Below is the LEFT SURROUND, ...far left in pic, with Bass Trap on top of K-402 Horn... BELOW is the DANLEY TH50 SUB , now positioned behind the sitting position ! (picture taken 9 months ago before Acoustic CURTAINs arrived !) BELOW : The COMMAND CENTER, using TWO Xilica XP-4080 DSPs, with Marantz AV7703 processor, ...a Pioneer Elite DVD-Audio player ....and a modified JOLIDA JD100 TUBE cd player. The two Xilica DSP's feed 11 Mono Block amps ( Carver Pro ZR1600's). ...a Crown MacroTech vz3600 for the Danley Sub. The Jubilee L-C-R Front Stage, from listening position... 12. CONGRATULATIONs on their safe arrival ! ~ I am curious of the size of the room (W x L X H ) ~Have you prepped the room acoustically, ... before their arrival ? ~Also, what components are you going to use ? This is exciting, for sure. ~Enjoy the process.
  13. I have a Brand New K-691 in the BOX available, ...if anyone is interested ! ~Rock On , Craig LeMay Born2Rock@Comcast.net
  14. ROOM TREATMENT is more than 50% of the equation. You can own the worlds greatest equipment and have the most professional tuning equipment, ...and you are still at WAR with the room. Priority ONE after purchasing fine equipment... room treatment ! ~Enjoy the Process ! -Rock on... Craig
  15. SOUNDS like a great plan, Chris. JUst so happens to be that next week I head to Hawaii ...til march 5th, so I will be out of the pocket, as well. Let me 'fiddle' with the tuning on my 5.1 system and we can coordinate some email shuffling, towards those inspirational FLATTENed phase curves. MY question mainly is pertaining to me using two XILICA's for my 11 channels. The system's 5.1 inputs/outputs are NOT formatted as they were before, ...when we were email each in the past for my 2.1 Jube setup The two XILICA 5.1 formatting : Xilica # 1 INPUTS : CH1 - SURROUND LEFT CH2 - L E F T CH3 - R I G H T CH4 - SURROUND RIGHT Xilica # 1 INPUTS : CH1 - C E N T E R CH2 - open channel CH3 - open channel CH3 - S U B W O O F E R ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Xilica # 1 OUTPUTs : CH1 -Left Surr. LF CH2 -Left Surr. HF CH3 -L E F T LF CH4 -L E F T HF CH5 R I G H T LF CH6 -R I G H T HF CH7 -Right Surr. LF CH8 -Right Surr. HF Xilica # 2 OUTPUTs : CH1 -C E N T E R LF CH2 -C EN T E R HF CH3 - CH4 - CH5 - CH6 - CH7 - CH8 -S U B W O O F E R *SHOULD we be concerned about this 5.1 Xilica formated configuration ?
  16. Chris is the RED PHASE line the Bessel 3rd order crossover setting ?
  17. And, if you are nervous about introducing the SIZE of a Pair of Jubilee's to you wife, ...DO NOT let her see them arrive at the front door ! Luckily ...I have the coolest wife, when it comes to my personal 'Mad Money" purchases.
  18. If it wasn't for Chris getting me started with the REW sweeps and assisted eMail tunings about 6 months ago, ...I do not know where I would be. As most of us buying Klipsch Jubilees, I had NO previous understanding of the XILICA DSPs , nor how to use the REW system. I've have over 40 years of Stage Time, as a performer, ...but very little knowledge about Digital Parametric EQ'ing. AND, NO Clue on the subject of time alignment, since from my angle of bashing / playing the drums on stage had NOTHING to do with time alignment. I understand EQing drums, but I have always been an ANALOG man...as far back as 1975 ! The Digital domain was a shocker and CHRIS was my saving grace. CHRIS, I can never thank you enough for your guidance and leadership ! You have been an incredible mentor to me, and many others on our Klipsch Forum ! Thank You Chris, from the bottom of my heart. ~YOU ROCK MY WORLD !
  19. That's a great statement. I certainly need to consider getting something setup to maximize power upstairs. What would you recommend ? A dedicated 30 amp breaker setup ?
  20. Rudy. Can you share WHAT Rack maker and model # it is ...or, send me a internet link. I like this approach and am wondering what model/maker this rack is from .
  21. Today's goals were accomplished fully, with no flaws : Rewired the complete system into a 5.1 Bi-Amp'd configuration, using 10 Carver Pro ZR1600 MONO Blocks ! Labeled every single Cable (...that's both ends of every single cable ) Labeled every Input + Output on all of the 11 amps. Time aligned all the K-402 Horns with their Bass Bins, using my XILICA XP-4080 DPS's ; applying Chris' recently shared formula / a 4th order Crossover / REW Spectrogram . Thank You CHRIS for all the guidance; ...everything was spot on, as anticipated. Here is a picture of my stacked amp racks, I rewired today ! This Anvil rack holds the 6 amps needed for the front stage L/C/R Jubilees ! This rack stacks on top of that Anvil, and holds the 4 amps needed for the KHorn Bass bins/K-402 SURROUNDs , as well as, a Crown MacroTech VZ3600 Mono Block, for my Danley TH-50 sub. ALL of these amps are stacked outside the upstairs Jubilee Room . TOMORROW's Goals: Time align each speaker bank, corresponding to the listen position ! Then, set all the AMP levels with REW SPL Meter. Begin the TUNING... Have a great weekend , everyone ! ~Rock on , Craig
  22. THANK YOU guys, This really helps me understand how to get a ballpark start ; ...and that THE Spectrogram IS the final ANSWER !
  23. 1st Order Crossover (1/4 wave length added) = 0.65 ms ? 2nd Order Crossover (1/2 wave length added) = 1.13 ms ? 3rd Order Crossover (2/3 wave length added ??) = 1.70 ms ? 4th Order Crossover (ONE wave lengths added) = 2.26 ms ?
