  1. In my living room I have the system listed in my signature. In my bedroon, I have a 26" LCD Sony DVP-NS975V and Panasonic SA-HT05. My question is should I exchange the Denon DVD player with the Sony since the Sony does upconversion? I'm using the DVI/HDMI cable for the Sony but the Denon does not have this option. I'm not upgrading yet because I want to wait and see if Blue Ray or HD DVD wins the war. Thanks in advance.
  2. Hey we have similar systems except I have RS-25s and RB-25s. I'd go with a bigger receiver if I were you.
  3. Don't forget the Outlaw Audio LFM-1
  4. Anyone knows how it compares to an Outlaw Audio LFM-1?
  5. I'll just stick with what I have then. If it's not going to be a big difference then it's not worth it to me.
  6. Yes, my tv is rear projection. Thank you.
  7. My current DVD player is Denon DVD-2200 which I'm very happy with. With these new upscaling DVD players, should I upgrade or is the 2200 still better?
  8. I'm in no way bashing Klipsch nor do I want to turn this into that kind of session. I think their speakers are awesome. I just think that Altec Lansing beat them on this one with a better, cheaper solution. Actually, I don't think I'll buy either at this time. My Promedia Ultras fill my office with sound nicely. Hopefully, Klipsch's upcoming portable system can regain the title from Altec Lansing. Klipsch did beat the Bose SoundDock though.
  9. I just left Best Buy. They have the igroove next to the im7. I was able to compare side by side. As much as I hate to admit it, I felt the im7 sounded better than the igroove. Wider, clearer, of course deeper, cheaper, more functions. As much as I like Klipsch, Altec Lansing is right on with their im7. I cant find a logical reason not to buy the im7 over the igroove.
  10. I was just comparing the FQ. response of the iGroove and the ProMedia Ultra's. iGroove = 65Hz - 17kHz Promedia Ultra = 50Hz-20kHz Does this mean that the Promedia's sound better? http://www.klipsch.com/product/product.aspx?cid=922' class="headlines">
  11. I currently have the ProMedia 2.0 Ultras (though they were RMA'd for defective volume control). Do you believe the sound quality of the Ultras is comparable to the igroove? I'm considering purchasing the igroove. My workmate has the Bose Sounddock and I love to make him eat it when I compare his $300 system to my $100 system.
  12. I really like the RB-25s. Now that I had some time to compare them, the sound is noticeably better with the RF-3s. Having said that, I'd had been disappointed if I bought them at full price. They are not that much better. I did my comparisons with the subwoofer on mind you. I think the RB-25s are the sweet spot for my listening habits. I have a downstairs neighbor whom I have to take into consideration. For the price though, Im extremely happy.
