  1. Also, splinter, how did you set that up for it to work? Does it say DOLBY in PowerDVD or does it say 4 SPKR like I seem to remember. Also, where is the option to go to 4 SPKR.. I could just not be remembering where it is. Thanks.
  2. thanks for the replies! Pardon my ignorance, but what are the LW3 drivers, and where could I get them? Thanks again.
  3. I know this has been gone over a million times, but this seems to be an oddity. The Klipsch Promedia 4.1s/PowerDVD/SbLive combo had been working fine. However, I just got myself an upgrade and switched to Windows 2000, faster processor, etc. Now, Power DVD won't downmix to 4.1 as needed. Before I used the option '4 SPKR' that was present, but I can't seem to find it now. I'd gone years without ever changing it, so I've forgotten how to set it up. Now, the only thing present is DOLBY SURROUND, but that just seems to give me Dolby Stereo Surround, not for full 5.1 My soundcard is on 4 speaker mode. I've been using PowerDVD in wav out. What am I doing wrong? How do I get the 5.1 (downmixed to 4.1 obviously) back?! HEEELLPP! Thanks in advance. - Jason Brown (note: sorry for posting in both forums.. I'm getting antsy)
  4. Does is have the 5.1 downmixing I need for my Promedias? If so, then does it have a free trial that supports all the features. And, where can I get it? Thanks for the tip!
  5. Well, I updated Power DVD and found it. Sorry about that.. all is good now. Thanks very much for your help.
  6. I *think* my 5.1 is working, but I really seem to have no way of testing. I have the Diamond MX300 and I'm using Power DVD for playback. Is this set up working? Is there anything else I need to do? If anyone has a DVD where the rear channels are used copiously, let me know. I can't seem to find any DVD where I can easily tell what is front and what is rear. Thanks, Jason
