Please note: the On/Off power switch has been replaced with a red switch. The new switch is the exact same as the old switch except the new switch is red. The old switch led lamp would flicker and I decided to replace it. Please view picture of the newly added red power switch. Tubes included: 2 JJ EL84 with very low hours 2 6DJ8 one is a Amperex Bugle Boy, one is a JJ 1 5AR4 JJ Works best with high efficiency speakers. Hello- I have a Eddie Vaughan Carina integrated tube amp and I need the volume pot replaced and the stuck volume knob removed off the volume pot shaft. Can someone please recommend a repair person? I'm in North Carolina, but I can ship it anywhere within US. Thanks, Robert

Howdy Looking for a DVD player with audio optical out for under $200 that I can use to play my CD's connected to my Benchmark Dac1 and I'll also use the same DVD player to play DVD's on the T.V. soon to be purchased flat LCD screen 720p 40 inch. I'll need a DVD player with optical out because the digital coax input on my dac will be used for another source,a Wadia Ipod transport . I was thinking about a Toshiba HD-A3 for $79 off Audiogon new,but read somewhere that Toshiba puts a cap on the audio qulaity of the audio optical output. Many thanks, Robert

Howdee all-( I'm not in any way associated with seller) on Audiogon now,under tube amp category,a seller is selling Ei KT-90 type 2's for $160 a quad and theses are new unused tubes. I bought a quad of Ei KT-90 type 2's from a different seller off Ebay several months ago for $190 and they sounded Fantastic in my VRD's which have been sold to a forum member. The Ei's also put out a lot less heat than the EH's and Valve Art's. Some folks say the Ei KT-90 type 2's sound as good if not better than the pricey GEC's. I wouldn't know about that cause I couldn't afford those. The Ei type 2's aren't prone to glowing cherry red and overheating like the type later type 3's. Just passing it along in case folks with VRD's want to try out the Ei's. Also they are extremely hard to find. I believe Jim McShane sells them for $185 a quad but is out of them. Cheers, Robert
