I think that Warner is going to come out with a disc that has both HD-DVD and Blu Ray movies on it, called " Total HD Disc", so it doesn;t matter what player you have. They say that the price will be the same as a standard hd disc. LG is coming out with a combo player also.

I am using the optical out on the PS3 and the HDMI conversion to DVI to my tv and I don't need to turn the dial up more. I heard that the HD player with the Xbox630 isn't really that great compared to the PS3 blu-ray as for game systems, but not 100% sure.

Take a look at Denon 3806 , Marantz 7001, Harman Kardon 645. These have receivers in that price range. On the website for Marantz and Denon , they are stating that it has 1080P via HDMI. Don't know about HK. You can always add a separate amp if you think you need more power and use the reciever as a pre amp down the road.

I got a PS3, don't know if I want to open it yet. Might want to return it or keep it. My mind is torn. LOL. I think I want a wii. Happy holidays.

Yeah, get the matching center, rc 62. The center is the most important piece in a HT setup and speaker matching is important. Also, check out some local dealers around your area, you might get some deals on buying all three and compare price.

Hey Everybody, just wondering what everybody is wishing for or getting this year as a holiday present. TV's, speakers, HD Players, amps, preamps, any new toys out there. Thought it might be fun. Good speakers will last you a life time. Spend the money in the speakers unless you change you mind easliy and choose to go a different direction. The denon should run the speakers fine and you can also add a amp later. I have never heard jamo speakers, so i can't compare the two brands. I recommend the rf 83, rc 64, rs 62 if you go with klipsch, but go listen to both klipsch setups and choose yourself. What kind of setup do you have now? How often do you buy new equipment?

Could be a grounding issue, are you running the sat coax cable through the monster bar. it should eliminate 90 percent of the buzz. Try disconnecting the sat line and play a dvd or cd because cable and sat can cause a hum or buzz.

I don't know how this amp will pair with the aragon, but take a look at sunfire 200 x 7. I just brought a 2 channel and paired it with my rotel pre and it sounds great. Have to wait and upgrade my 5 channel amp to a sunfire.

Get the RC 64 to match the fronts for sure, also get the rt-12d to match also if you have the extra cash. You might consider the rt-10d if money is an issue. and I agree to the center channel is the most important part for the home theater system.

Just got a great deal on a new sunfire 300 x 2 from a local dealer($1100.00). Couldn't pass this up. Will not be able to test it out until a couple of days though. I am going to hook them up to the RF 7's.Wondering how this will sound with the rotel during a movie, but I will have to wait. LOL.
