  1. You're correct, the objects are supposed to localized. The issue is the speakers become more pinpoint and aren't as enveloping in my experience. As far as using non-direct radiators for surround channels, the WDST style surrounds work quite well. Dolby labs were quite impressed with the Klipsch system I demonstrated for them several years back. Sent from my moto z4 using Tapatalk
  2. Up-firing does work just fine. You haven't experienced an appropriate setup or wouldn't say that. I prefer a DAES setup as with In-ceiling speakers you can localize the speakers more easily. Sent from my moto z4 using Tapatalk
  3. The 500sa is designed to be sat on top of your tower speakers and aimed at the ceiling. This is a purpose made Dolby Atmos Enabled Speaker, an alternative location is mounting them on the wall as height speakers(least desired position). In no circumstance does Klipsch recommend mounting that speaker on the ceiling, that's what In-Ceiling speakers are for.
  4. A younger guy and his dad got them today, brought another one into the club. Sent from my moto z4 using Tapatalk

  6. yes they are, factory finish. Sent from my moto z4 using Tapatalk
  7. Yes, I work at Klipsch which is why you see the pictures you do. Sent from my moto z4 using Tapatalk
  8. They were used in bridge mode to 4 15" subwoofers. I had to use separate AC circuits so I didn't trip breakers. The combo was punishing the last 30 minutes of an indoor wedding I did when everyone was liquored up. Sent from my moto z4 using Tapatalk
  9. I have 4 of these for sale, priced $125ea. These have rebuilt fanformers with fresh sleeve bearings. All channels have had their bias adjustments set to factory spec. I also put in new air filters. These are about as clean as you will find, and certainly work horse amplifiers. I only used them for a few hours after they were refurbished. They have been parked in my rack for a year, time to let them go.
  10. I have for sale a pair of consecutive serial number Pro La Scala. #2854, 2855 I have owned these for 10+ years where they have served as my garage speakers. I recently pulled them out and took them to Klipsch HQ where I inspected them. I wanted to clean them up a little and make sure they are fully functional. These have custom networks that I designed as the AL networks they came with were trashed years ago. The woofers are matching K43, and mids are matching K-55-V pairs. I didn't have any K-77 tweeters to cherry pick from but they are good to go. The cabinets are in pretty good shape for their age, and all aluminum trim pieces are intact. I'm not sure where these fall in the market, but I know they are not as common as traditional La Scala pairs. These will be available for pick up at Klipsch HQ in Indianapolis. asking price is $2250 I've thrown in 2 R-115 subs to sweeten the deal. They are fully functional, but they are beat up pretty good. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CuWgxUIg4CqEZb67sNHkYpaxdOeIBIxi/view https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Cf_GkvfNQOuYkYVsnTZyia_d5cKY6Bbv/view https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CCezYTj0uG5sRQ4TeCBZQbv43PqygIgb/view https://drive.google.com/file/d/1C6WzgGY2TtB4j4l88LNWHio42RG9UtjI/view https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CKEIzIf97vr8u6_jzb2ue6gExgTqV0e-/view https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CM1bfia4Bqie6R5p_EpnCXxWKmK7VRLO/view https://drive.google.com/file/d/1C_3AzKrem1UEbJLdb7084RkIoOB_2bse/view https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Cagy-6YWfUqEP29DlybE_z8zSjpAqfGO/view https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CKqv01YKLfhEhB9FW0B7YR1i7d-EiUGW/view
  11. You are correct, I used the wrong wording. The correct product to use should be Plastic Welder. Sent from my moto z4 using Tapatalk
  12. Permatex Plastic Bonder 2 part epoxy should fix you up, just let it cure for 24 hours.
  13. Those two subwoofers are equal in performance, choose your cosmetics. The dynamic eq has no effect on the subwoofer.
  14. This is a screen I built a couple years ago, I recently switched back to a TV. It is made of 2 layers of spandex material, white over black. This is for local pickup only, and it needs to be gone by next Saturday. Location is southwest of Indianapolis. It will not fit lengthwise in an 8ft pickup bed. If interested please message me to setup a time for pickup. This is the only photo I could find now that it isn't in use, ignore the alien.
  15. All K-55 (that look like that) are made by Atlas. Sent from my Moto G (5S) Plus using Tapatalk
  16. Both are great systems, while the numbers may not look different, the newer system has some sonic tweaks to it.
  17. looks like a k55/pd5v based on your photos
  18. The rsw-15 gets a few dB louder than the 115, that is it really. The 115 plays deeper by a significant margin below 23Hz. That's not to say it is extremely loud under 20Hz, but it is there. Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk
  19. Perfect, it does stereo too! Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk
  20. If you put another hard surface over the Roxul then you will get the bounce.
