Smooth Jimmy sucked this week

Its like buying a car for the pure purpose of trailering it to the car shows and setting up your folding chairs and sitting behind it. At the end of the show putting back on the trailer and then putting it away in the garage until the next car show. If that is your think, look at least its some what social, then so be it.

I have purchased a few digital albums (FLAC) from the Ponos Music store with good success. They seem to have a better selection than HDTracks. Lots of high resolution data and the Meta data is not an issue. I don't use their players just Media Monkey. Looks like Neil Young was apart of its start up. I know the players were part of the kick starter. Nice to have options to avoid a physical package and the in music in the 24/194 format seems make SACD's now completely obsolete.

There are a bunch of people on the forum who would brush their records and post about the sound but spend little time listening, because they could not enjoy it unless every thing is/was perfect. A fetish if you will. I love music. Sure great systems help. I saw Little Feat last weekend, good jam band. Also went to a bar that had a good cover band. I enjoyed them both (had ear plugs as my common practice). I listen to music under non optimal conditions and still enjoy it. To me it is not about analysis of how the music "sounds" quality wise.
