  1. Thanks for all the help guys. I went ahead and manned up and bought the RF-62 II towers! I got the cherry ones for $800 shipped for the pair from Crutchfield. Super stoked to get these. I use to own the older Reference version of these...the RF-25's. Had to sell them many years ago and have been wanted another pair. Loved the sound they produced. I also have a set of Forte II's, but they might go in the living room of the new house i am buying. The Reference towers are for the game room.
  2. I'm not sure if it's kosher to mention pricing, but the RB-61 II's (in cherry) are $399 pair at Crutchfield and the RF-52 II's (in cherry) are $275 each/$550 pair. Free shipping. And to be honest, I kinda dig the cherry over the black finish.
  3. Hiya folks! Long time Klipsch fan here. I am looking to buy a new pair of speakers for my game room and want to go with a pair of Reference series. I am thinking either RF-52 II towers or RB-61 II bookshelves. They are right in my price range. However, my game room focus's around retro games and consoles (and maybe a couple arcade cabinets) and the main display I plan to use these with is a Sony CRT (PVM-2950Q 29 inch RGB monitor). I know the current Reference series aren't magnetically shielded any longer but I am wondering if anyone here has used either the RF-52's or RB-61's with a CRT and how far away they had to keep them so they wouldn't affect the picture. My other choice is to go with the Synergy series which I know are still shielded. But I would really rather go with the Reference ones. Also, has anyone had a chance to direclty compare the RF-52's and RB-61's? Sadly my nearest Klipsch Reference dealer is quite a drive away, so it isn't easy for me to directly compare them myself. Thanks!
  4. Thoughts between the two? Best Buy has the B-3's on sale for under $300 a pair and my local Reference dealer probably wants close to retail for the RB-61's (which I think is around $450). Anyone here had a chance to directly compare the two? I last had RF-25 towers and I hated having to sell them, but I was in a bind and needed to. Looking for something close to having a similiar sound to them. I know the RB-61's would be a better speaker, but is the cost difference worth it? Thanks!
  5. Bumping my own question. Anyone know where I might buy this stand/rolling cart? I asked this over 2 years ago and still don't know the source of it.
  6. Both the 3802 and the RF-25's are still available. I am willing to make someone a killer deal on both these for local pickup. I need the money, please help a brotha out.
  7. Back to the top! Still got this stuff available. I believe I have somone interested in the 3802, the RF-25s are still available. At $350 they are a steal!!
  8. Little monday bump! Will try to get some better photos tonite.
  9. edit: Sorry folks, but I am going to need to cancel this sale. Thanks! Hiya Gang! Long time, no post. Looking to upgrade some equipment, so I am looking to sell off my current stuff. I have a pair of black Klipsch RF-25s for sale. They are a little over 1 year old. Since I live in an apartment, they haven't been driven hard or abused. Overall excellent condition. I would like to sell these locally, or to someone willing to drive to pick them up. I don't want to ship them due to size and weight. Don't have the original boxes, but I do have the floor spike kits for them (never installed). I am asking $350 for the pair. Also, I have a Denon 3802 receiver for sale. A virtual legend in its own time. Typically these sell on eBay for around $350 plus shipping. I am looking for $300 plus shipping. Includes the receiver, remote and manual. If someone wants both of them, I will sell them for local pickup for $625. This is the best I have of them currently, but I will take some better ones later once I am home. Its hard to tell, but the 3802 is underneath the cable box on the right hand side of the rack on the bottom shelf.
  10. It was great to meet you Bill. Glad that you are happy with them and I am happy they are going to a good home!
  11. Just an update for everyone. I have atleast one or two offers on these and I am just waiting to see if anything pans out. Thanks!
  12. Well, downsizing in a sense of not having multiple sets of large floor standing speakers setting around my apartment. Plus theres no guarantee I will move up to RF-7s. The girlfriend might veto that move. She just hates that I have all this stuff in our home. I have sold off quite a bit of electronics, video games and other stuff..
  13. Yeah, I wouldn't have the heart to paint the cabinets. While I agree that the KLF20's kick the RF25's butt, I can trade up through the dealer I bought my RF25s through. I am going to probably go up to the RF7's by summer.
  14. Aesthetically my girlfriend likes the black RF-25's better. Plus the dealer I bought them from will let me just pay the difference if I want to upgrade up the Reference line.
  15. Yeah they are. I am just downsizing some of my stuff.
  16. Hiya gang! I recently bought some RF-25's and decided to sell my beloved KLF-20s. I bought them discontinued in 2000. They are in overall excellent condition with only a couple small nicks on the back of the cabinets. These are for local pickup only in the greater Dayton, Ohio area (Centerville). Sadly I don't have the boxes for them still. I am asking $550 for them. Questions? You can PM me here or shoot me an email to thgill@gmail.com. Here are some pics: Thanks!
  17. Can anyone tell me where to buy this stand and who makes it and price??
  18. I have been keeping an eye on this thread for a couple weeks and following the progress of it. Personally I would NOT settle for anything that UE or Klipsch tells you and ask for an IMMEDIATE refund. Even if they tell you that they can have one to you by this time next week, don't accept it. They have had more than their chance to make things right and they are dragging their feet to say the least. I am a Klipsch fan, but sometimes you have to draw a line in the sand. Buy the SVS; you will be much happier with it and their customer service.

I have a very similiar setup and that would ideal to have for my 50 inch Panny and my A/V stuff. The wheels would make it a cinch to roll out and make quick changes and hook ups.
