  3. it will be intresting to see what your coworker's impressiom will be after obtaining his khorn, what compremise will be made baised on his aquired experience with khorn. then all will have a valid opinion as to what sounds better to an indivisual, i love the toungin cheek way all the personalities express favorite preferences. personally my cornwall stand a few inches below the khorn and is easily reposition should the need arise, does this make it better.?

    hf help

thanks for your responce ,the cross over could be an avenue , although from your surmize an upgrade most likely will not totally deminish the problem,my main thought is wether any modification could to the current type b that is present.
  9. not sure what this particular piece of apperatus is called , can check with your local a/c contractor but its suppose to limit voltage drop when unit starts up.and is installed in a/c unit.stop lights from blinking.if drom from power company shows sign of damage they will replace drop.

    hf help

the hf on my 76 cornwalls can be a smidgen high to the point of beign annoing with some string instrument espically violin.not always on some jazz &classicaldisc. my overall plan is to have two channel set up, right now using acurus multi and outlaw950, panasonic 25 player, acurus to me is very neutral &950 while quite definalely spacious it focus every thing to the center point,it is a small percentage of music thats exhibit this unwanted feature.sorry for long windedness.room 24x18x8 plaster wall tyle floor. the speakers 10'apart long wall. compolents are k77,k55v,k33, all solder joints with type b network. is there any way to reduce, tame the hf and not affect other compolent, and not discard system, will consider a new cd player if this will solve problem. thank you for your imput
  11. no disc awesooome system how high are those corns above floor do you hahe lights under them to make them hoooveer. one day you will really appriecate them when you have some disc to play, i am envious.goose bumps envy oughhhh buda
  12. i too believe that its a personial perfernce i've lived with my quartets now for 15 years, and have only recently removed them from my system, after interchanging them with cornwall aquired two years ago. the bass of the quartet does digs deep and is not to be dismissed too hastely, i believe the area that is beign missed is found in the lower mid bass where the true balance occures in the voicing which really allows the quartet to stand on its own.
