  1. I would be remiss if I didn’t point out what a great value the Elac subwoofer represents. Bought it new for $350 and have no regrets. The Auto EQ removed some nasty peaks in this room that had me giving up on subwoofers in the past. Maybe the easiest blending of sub/speakers that I have ever experienced. I don’t have the ability to high pass the RP160’s, but it works nonetheless.
  2. I had strayed away from Klipsch for a little while, but decided recently to start looking for another pair of Heresy II’s to rebuild a family room system. I wasn’t having much luck, so I decided to buy a pair of RP160M’s locally on CL for the interim. Almost immediately I was struck by how smooth theses speakers sounded and how fantastically dynamic the are for their size. I added an Elac 3010 subwoofer with Auto EQ and a used NAD D3020 v2 amp and the sound is incredible. I’ve never experienced such great sound in a sub $1k system! I urge anyone who is looking for a great pair of stand mounted speakers to at least audition the 160’s or the newer 600’s. Well done Klipsch. Just amazing...not sure now if I still will buy Heresy’s...
  3. I second the choice of Parasound. I have had nothing but great experience with a number of their amps. At 98db sensitivity, it won’t take many watts to drive your speakers. I had great results with the tiny Parasound zAmp on a pair of RF-63’s.
  4. Excellent condition with original double box, remote and manual. Matching zAmp v.3 also available. 20+ years of perfect feedback on Audiogon (mcp) and eBay (fetzervlv).
  5. Terrific little 45 wpc amp that has performed beautifully with KG 3.5’s, Fortes and RP600M’s. Excellent condition with original double box and manual. 20+ years of perfect feedback on Audiogon (mcp) and eBay (fetzervlv). Matching preamp (zPre v.2) also available.
  6. Ok, last call. I’m a little surprised they didn’t sell. With family coming for Thanksgiving and surgery shortly after that, I won’t be available to audition them for several months. Will be putting them in storage.
  7. I will say that I’ve owned both and I would take the 63’s in a heartbeat. I’ll probably take a beating over this, but the 63’s have better bass and a sweeter tonal balance. If I had a room with better placement options, I would not be selling ...
  8. My pricing reflects needing them out before Thanksgiving. I will have a house full of people and could use the space.
  9. Yes, I own the Rectilinear III lowboys and they are magnificent.
  10. Yup, pretty nice speakers. I know many like big power on these, but I have found tubes and low powered SS are magic with R III’s.
  11. I don’t know if you’ve ever seen these speakers in person, but they are pretty big. Without the original cartons, they would probably never make it intact. Even with the cartons, I would be nervous to ship. Sorry, I wish I could...

  13. Yes, I did, and ended up buying him breakfast the next morning! My wife and I had a nice coversation with Steve and his wife - a thrill to meet one of my heroes.
  14. Hey there; heartbreaker today, but headed in the right direction.
  15. This table has only 20 minutes use! I bought it for a bedroom system about 2 weeks ago, but some medical issues have arisen and I won’t be having time to get back into vinyl in the near future. I played one side of a Bill Bruford LP and that is it. Cost new is $1145 + tax. I can ship in original box. Buyer pays shipping from 13039 and PayPal, if used.
