  1. I use Tidal and Spotify. Spotify is and has always been the most reliable streaming service for me. Tidal has come a long way and isn't far behind as far as reliability but has the edge in sound quality most of the time. 'Max' or whatever they're calling it these days always sounds too 'thin' to me.....so I stick with HI-FI. I don't know what it is but Spotify's sound quality is always consistent. Tidal seems to fluctuate. Sometimes it doesn't sound much better or different than Spotify and sometimes it clearly sounds more refined. Could just be my melon but I dig all of it. Digital with a good DAC and a tube amp floats my boat. Haven't done vinyl or cd's for many moons now.....and really don't miss it. (until I hear it again)

    Amen to that. πŸ‘

    Diet

Actually, I think I peed my pants right after I read the scale. I wasn't expecting to be another 13lbs lighter.

    Diet

Went and got a Covid test a couple weeks ago (I'm good) and they weighed me.....down another 13lbs for a total of 110lbs in 3 1/2 years. I also found out that my work boots weigh a whopping 10lbs by themselves. Time to put them on a diet as well.
  5. That's good news for people looking for KLF-30 replacements directly from Klipsch (finally). Anybody got any pics of these new woofers?
  6. Why do you say to avoid Stereo Rehab?
  7. I haven't regretted one bit putting the Ciare woofers in mine. I pump 500 old school Crown watts into mine and beat the hell out of them and they haven't let me down yet. The original woofers.....that's a different story.

    Diet

Another thing is to not eat in between meals. We are constantly led to believe that we must snack. Snacks bring in more money. You have to give your digestive system time to rest and recover ESPECIALLY when you're older. Our bodies aren't as efficient as they were when we're were younger. Eating healthy food also makes this possible. Junk/processed food does not.

Thanks for the heads-up on this book, Mark. Gonna check it out.

    Diet

Forgot to mention that I still have not gone back to any type of fast/processed food or soda or sugar of any kind except a little Ketchup here and there. At this point it's just too easy.....and to screw it up now would be foolish. It's kinda hard at first but just keeps getting easier and easier as time goes on.

    Diet

Since my last post in this thread, I've lost a little over 20 more pounds for a total of close to 100lbs since March of 2020. I've increased my resistance training with dumbells and resistance bands in addition to my frequently labor intense job. Still intermittent fast and generally Keto but mostly low-carb. I've upped my protein consumption and started supplementing with creatine. Went down another pant size to a 36 waist whereas my biggest was a 46. My two biggest downfalls.....pizza and burritos.....are almost completely out of my diet but not quite. It just keeps getting easier and easier. Temptation is like a thing of the past. Good luck to you guys. Stick with it because it's totally worth it.
  12. Love my restored 222c. It never let's me down. Excellent sound quality, perfect characteristics for Klipsch.
  13. I love my Bluesound Node 2i. What power supply upgrade did you go with for yours?
  14. My class A solid state takes one hour to sound right. No doubt about it. My 60 year old Scott tube integrated sounds great right off the bat but sounds better after 45 minutes. My Crown pro-amps sound good right off the bat and stay that way. I've never heard speaker cable benefit from break in. I've definitely heard interconnects benefit from break in as well as tubes. New woofs need a few hours of thumpin to sound their best.
  15. Glad I stocked up a few years ago. Especially with 6P14P-EV power tubes from Russia/Ukraine. I'm set for life at this point although I did just order some Telefunken ECF-82's. Not cheap but sound so good in my amp.
  16. Duke I remember you from the forum years ago. You helped me with one of my questions. Didn't you have a Phase Linear amp start on fire or something along those lines?
  17. Anyone else having issues with the quote function?
