  1. After further review, it looks as though it's really 95w per channel @.07thd. STill not bad though, ZI've now seen them on the internet as low as $349 but not sure if I want to buy that way. I notice it only has 2 component video inputs versus the Denons 3, not sure if this would matter to me or not?
  2. Posted this because I was planning on buying the Denon but this Yamaha just went on sale at BB for $499. Seems like a great price for a 7.1 110 watt per channel reciever. How would this sound with a RF-35 home theatre system and would it sound as good as the Denon?
  3. Thanks guys, lots of good choices out there :-)
  4. Looking for a home theatre reciever to power RF-35's. The 1015 at BB is $500 and the Denons can be had for around the same refurbished at Dakmart. Basement is about 20x15.
  5. Yep, you can find RF-35's for that price or less.
  6. Thanks guys, it looks as though I need to go to the other Klipsch dealer down the street and play some hardball.
  7. I'm planning on buying a RF35 HT complete system with a Denon 2105 or 2805. With a lot of pushing, the dealer agreed to 15% off the complete purchase. I told him I would let him know. I have heard that 20 and 25% discounts are possible, is this what I should expect to get?
  8. Nice stuff! I also have XTR on the mtn bike and Ultegra on the road bike, both excellent choices. I was lookin at some carbon Trek road bikes, wow you'd think you were buying a race car!
  9. IAmtnbikr, yes I'm a cyclist but not like I used to be. Lol, I've been thru this whole thing with the wife about the bikes also. I have a VOODOO titanium mtn bike and a Bianchi road bike and I've spent a ton of money on both. It's just like this HT thing, it's a disease! I've also got an old Park-Pre road bike and several other expensive mtn bikes for my sons, my wife just doesn't get it. We could also talk about my addiction to speed with a Yamaha Waverunner that is hopped up to the max :-)
  10. How do you like that 2105, I'm stuck between that and the 2805? I'm now considering getting the rf35 system and saving up for the sub at a later date. I'm getting real interested in the SVS cylinder subs, the 25-31pci and the 20-39pci get great reviews for movies and are still much less expensive than an rsw12.
  11. WOW, lots of great info guys, thank you! He offered me 15% off with a lot of pressing on my part if I buy the whole system. I think 20-25% would be more like it, what has been your guys experience? Ya, for less than the rsw12, I could go with a 12" SVS, might be the way to go?
  12. Went back for another listen yesterday. They had set up the rf25's and rf35's in the same raoom with a nice yamaha reciever. I liked the rf25's but the rf35's were awesome. I do not like the rw subs, not enough punch. Salesman was pointing me towards an rsw12 but they're a lot of money. Found a pair of RF35's in a sound room also, tried them with the Denon 2105 and the 2805. The 2105 is good, the 2805 a little better with a bit warmer fuller sound. I can see that this is a disease, the more I learn and listen the more it's going to cost me!
  13. I just got the chance to listen to the RW12 today. It sounded real nice with music but seems to lack punch for movies. The salesman said to go with the RSW12, that's a lot of dough though.
  14. Thanks for the help guys, SVS seems to do a lot with 10".
  15. Trying to put together a HT system for mostly movie watching and a little music listening. Will be going with either an RF25 or RF35 system and can't decide which one of these subs would be best. My room is 15x22 by the way and I will be getting a Denon 2105 or 2805.
