  1. They’re a Klipsch authorized company, they provide crossover rebuild components. JEM Performance Audio https://jemperformanceaudio.com/
  2. That’s a very high end receiver and will drive your speakers perfectly fine. It does have pre-amp outputs for all channels, though, so you could get an external amplifier if you wanted. They only thing I would change is upgrade your subwoofers and/or add Atmos speakers.
  3. Man if I were closer I’d be all over those. I’ve always wanted a pair of birth year Klipsch!
  4. They have to be less than 2mb in file size. There are apps you can download that will shrink pictures down in size.
  5. https://www.klipsch.com/reference-premiere-all-new-subwoofers Maybe @Schu will finally be satisfied?
  6. I’d go with whatever position is closest to creating an equilateral triangle with your listening position.
  7. Contact @Chad and see. What was your old SN?
  8. Ugly is a personal opinion.
  9. I would highly recommend Dean if you don’t feel comfortable soldering new capacitors yourself. The only other thing I’d recommend is to unscrew and tighten all of the input and output screws on the crossover. That will help remove years of oxidation and give a much better contact.
  10. I’ve only heard CF-3s but I thought they sounded great.
  11. Here’s the archived link from Klipsch: https://www.klipsch.com/products/kp-110 In fully working condition I’d say they’d be in the $150 +- range.
  12. If you had a larger room more power would be needed to reach the same SPL than in a smaller room.
  13. That would have been a much better choice.
  14. Click on the link above and then there’s a green button to click on that says “Back this project”.
  15. I’ve always been of the opinion that any subwoofer you’re using should have a woofer that’s at least as big as the woofer in your main speakers.
  16. My Sony UBP-X700 has been a great player.
  17. You’re responding to a 14 year old thread and the member you quoted hasn’t been on here since 2021.
  18. No, and all of my speakers sound fantastic.
  19. I was never happy with the Academy I had. Used it with Heresy I/II mains. I finally found a cheap Heresy pair, used one as a center and sold the other one. Everything sounds perfect now.
  20. With my Heresy mains I wasn’t happy with any center speaker I tried until I added another Heresy as a center. Completely transformed everything.
