A little off topic, but does anyone have a picture of the RW-12 motor? Or any picture of the RW-12 with out the subwoofer box.

SPL fan here for caraudio only. Lucky thing I don't live in St. Louis. I only have a single DD 9512", and its still not enough.[]

I must say, if you can afford an RSW-15 than go for it. The 15" would hit lower than the 12".

I wouldn't mind a picture of the motor behind the subwoofer cone. [] I must say, in my opinion that only the rubber surround, sorta looks like the MTX9500. I could be wrong from just pictures..... The new Klipsch RT-12d looks mean.... Its one of my favorite home theater subwoofer pictures.[]

Even tho I own an RW-12, the Sub-12 would be a better buy. I am a same fan for front-firing subwoofers also. I do believe in my opinion, that front-firing subs can be a little louder when you use a meter. Our human ears can't tell the difference with out one.[]

I need to recheck my Costco. I just came back from Oregon, and I have seen the iFi's for $199! To bad the box is big to ship to Hawaii.... It could be a mainland thing, that they carry the iFi's. The last time I check Costco about 4 weeks ago they didn't have it.

Wow, Im at mainland now in Oregon. I hope Goodguys is still open. When I get back home in Hawaii, im going to test out a few spots with my Onkyo 8" subwoofer. It can fit into small spaces.

Im hoping for a new Quintet III system or the Logitech Z-5500. Sorry about the PMU 5.1 Ultras, I need features more than Sound Quality.... I have an RW-12, I don't know if its at a bad position....., but even my Sony 12" subwoofer sounds louder. Sony is not suppose to be Louder!!! At puredigital the RW-10 subwoofer is super loud. So my RW-12 subwoofer should do the same....

The real test is with no subwoofers. [] Try and test the bose system with out a subwoofer, and do the same with the Klipsch system. I hate bose, even tho I have computer bose speakers........ The bose speakers lack way more Bass than the Klipsch. By the way, what kind of music does she listen to? The RF-7s should own Bose in movies and in the SQ of music. Oh, and tell her that you need to go out to more audio shops and compare the Sound Quality with bose.[] Have to make sure that they have Bose and Klipsch right aside each other. [] Oh kohill, you should try this song its called Ghost Town Dj's-My Boo, it has hard hitting bass. Great for testing speakers with out a subwoofer.

Yups, the Sub-12 performs almost like my RW-12. Except the Sub-12 would be a better buy.... Only about 3-5 dB[loudness] off measuring from a down-firing to a front-firing subwoofer. To me, in my opinion I still like front-firing subwoofers.[]
