  1. I have previously posted a similar question to this forum, but would like to know if anyone has experienced the match of KG3 mains and a KV2 center speaker? Would you recommend this combination?
  2. Am I correct in assuming I would be better off setting my center channel option to 'off' in my receiver setup, thereby creating a phantom center channel, versus adding a unmatched center speaker? I use the phantom now and am satisfied, but I still wonder! My front mains (KG3) are 6' feet apart. I use 2 front surrounds, 2 rear surrounds (matrix) and 1 powered subwoofer. After much reserach, I cannot accomodate a any matched Klipsch. My only option would be another brand center, which would most likely be unmatched.
  3. The KG3's are out (size-wise). I've been watching the KG2.2V on Ebay. It is kind of high. I'd be interested in oak or black.
  4. I guess I'll just be patient and keep my eye out for them!
  5. Thank you for your advice. I understand the importance of matching the center speaker with the fronts, but it appears if these discontinued items can't be found, the only alternative is to buy three new speakers. If I had to use some degree of acceptability with a mismatched center, which current Klipsch product would you consider closest?
  6. I've read many posts where suggestions were made for a center speaker to match a pair of KG3's (15 years old today!), but they usually mention discontinued or used speakers. Can anyone suggest a Klipsch model that will match, that is still available new?
