zmnamaz, Welcome to the forum, just one of many options and a sub that i am very happy with is the 25-31PC-Plus, it is around 850 before taxes. And IMHO is one great sub for the money, just read it's reveiws.

MechMan, Good to have you on such a great forum, I have a B&K 200 wpc and my Hl's sound great with some help from BEC,(well worth it). Plus mine have some miner scratches I would like to fix.

While waiting for my CT-125's to come, I put my RB-5ll back to use, and I like very much. But when I hooked my Heresy's up well I'll just say it don't get no better than that!

Let me start out by saying when I got my first Klipsch I just jumped in and bought them without listening to them. Needless to say I was lucky and I have never looked back.Ok about a year ago the bug hits me and I buy me some Heresy's, also not hereing them first, (real smart). I get them and they sound good to me so I get Bob's X-overs and they sound better well months later I find out I have a blown tweeter, so the other day I get the CT-125's. They come in today and I put them in. I get Clapton Unplugged put it in and just there listening. The first thought that I had was these can't be my speakers, then the next thought was you Idiot that tweeter has probably been blown for a while. I mean now with the x-overs and the new tweeters to my ears these not the same speakers. I had plans tonight but theres no way I'm going anywhere. It took me a while but this baby is sweet now, I had to tell somebody.[]

I decided to go with Bob's CT125's I was takeing out the old ones and I noticed at the mid horn the two screws near the woofer, both of the screws had splintered the wood. I new this when I changed the X-overs. One screw was loose and would not tighten back. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

Well I just knew I wouldn't be able to sleep. Thanks Brac for the info, I did the towel test and I had no tweeter. So I went through the search and got the info on useing the omh meter so if I did it right, the tweeter peged out the meter. So if I've got all my info. right it should be the diophram? For the past year I've had to work out of town and wasn't able to come home and really listen to the speakers like I wanted to.

Ok since I added the Academy to my system, I've got the time to run the auto setup. As it starts detecting for phase my left beeps or what ever you call it, when it gets to right speaker I can tell a big differanse in the sound. It tells me to switch phase but that does not help. It sounds like theres no highs coming from the speaker compared to my others.So I shut it down and went into the back and everything looks good. Is there somthing I'm missing here or do you guys think I've got a problem? Any help please.

Well today is the day my Academy comes by way of UPS, so here I sit all day just waiting. Then at about 4 theres a knock on the door, oh yea it's here! Go to the door and it's some guy wanting directions.I look afew feet from the door and there sits my Academy. I bout Sh%t. UPS man didn't even Knock on the door. Good thing I live in a pretty good area.

OB remember 2 or 3 months ago we had this same talk, must be ESP N.[] Yes I do, and I remember someone giving me crap about my answer................I was only pointing out that I may have been wrong on my view of Frampton, and I watched to see if I was wrong, and after watching it, it didn't make me like him, but the show was good. You don't have to like someone to admit the show was good, and the fact that I watched it to reconsider my position, was good on my part. Funny thing, 30 years ago I didn't like Eric Clapton either...................but that sure changed. We all have bad day's and that was one of mine, sorry about that.

Ok so it was a 5 min. fix (loosened top two screws and tighten bottom two screws but I one that is striped out) Surely it;s not been like this all these years.

What flips me out once you see this speaker up close It is so easy to spot. IMO it looks like maybe they tighten the top screws to far at first and tilted the horn downward and then tighten the bottom screws and spintered the wood. I'll try and reposition the horn.

Well I finally took the time to open these speakers. All Klipsch drivers thank God. Type E crossover and the inside looked like it just came from the factory. But only one problem (that the seller did not share) One mid horn has a gap of about 3/8's that runs along the bottom of the horn. Horn is very secure, looks like it might have been caused when screws were put in and splintered the wood.Just wondering if I should try to fix it? If that lowers that horns performance any?

Well my babies got hear a little earlier today, I might be a little obsessed about this hobby when the Fedex guy backs through my yard to my front door. I think what the Heck until he comes out to shake my hand and asks if I on vacation again(same guy that brought my B&K amp). I e-mailed the owner for the ser. # and never got a reply. Now I know why 17N066 and 17N142. So I am a little down until I hook them up. Set my 5ll's on top of the Heresy's hooked them up and OH MY GOSH they rocked right off the bat. It was like a big weight was lifted off my shoulders. Cann't stop listening to them to check out whats inside but I will soon.

The speakers are checked in to Charlotte NC this afternoon, so hopefully they are here by lunch time tomarrow. Come on Fedex truck!!

That is probably what will happen because their suppose to be here on the 12th, I'll wait and see.
