  1. Hello all, It has been quite some time since I have been on this site. I have a coworker, a youngster, that is discovering his love of sound quality and music. He wanted my assistance setting up a system. I am hoping to score one of these old Scotts and have him hook up a pair of Heresy. Anyone by chance have one lying around that can be sold?
  2. Yes, like I said they have been behind a framed cabinet all their lives. They are mint. I will definitely take lots of pics upon his return.
  3. Yeah unfortunately I asked for pics of the labels and fronts and this is what he sent me. He has left the state briefly and I'll take more pics upon his return. Yes, they just need to be dusted. Otherwise, just like they came from the factory.
  4. Hello, A buddy of mine bought these brand new in 1994. He built custom cabinets for them and they have been hidden in these cabinets their entire lives. He has moved out of state and doesn't have a place for them. He is asking $1600. These are factory black lacquered with factory grills. These are located in Little Rock, AR.
  5. Anybody have one hanging around by chance?
  6. Currently they sound EXACTLY like my Jubilees. Neither are hooked up.
  7. The dovetail fits right over the horizontal wood and voila!
  8. The second piece is a triangle for mounting in the corner.
  9. He did a dovetail type extrusion on back (obviously my description shows my ignorance to woodworking, but I digress)
  10. Pics flip upside down when I post for some reason. He bent metal in through the arms for extra support.
  11. I wanted to mount some heresy high up in the corners of my kitchen. I really didn't see any mounts available for sale. I asked a talented jack of all trades I know if he could build me some. I thought his design was quite brilliant. Anyway, wanted to share photos in case anyone was having similar thoughts.
  12. What Neil had to say about this song: "Originally written for an extended piece ('The African Trilogy'), 'Soolaimon' took on a life of its own when it was presented to a live audience. The title is meant to be a variation of the word 'Salamah' meaning, 'Hello' and 'Welcome' as well as 'Good-bye' and Peace be with you,' in many languages." Peace be with YOU Dee!!!
  13. No apology necessary. It's all good. I didn't initially post on Garage Sale because I knew my price point was high and I'll only list on there if I am trying to give someone a deal. After reading this I realized it could be two forum members bidding against each other. So, I threw them on Garage sale roughly minus ebay fees if sold for my starting bid to give someone on here first chance if they really wanted them. No harm no foul.
  14. Thanks davis419b! Not only have I not heard them before but I still haven't heard them. I haven't hooked up the Jubilees yet because I need to clear out the Persian Nuts to make room.
  15. And I have Rosewood Jubilees unfortunately not Brazilian but nevertheless still nice.
  16. Here you go as requested..... THESE ARE NOT FOR SALE
  17. I wasn't going to list these here because I am trying to get top dollar to offset the Jubilee and TAD driver purchases I have recently made. Since there is a thread in the alert section with pics, I have decided after seeing fellow forum members express interest to make a forum offer here. I usually only offer up something here for good deals but I didn't want a fellow forum member to bid on something I am selling on ebay. So, if one of you guys/girls were really interested, I will sell to a forum member (not someone that joins today) for $3900. Yes, I know that is high for this forum but better that than bidding on ebay. These are really rare. I really don't want to sell but I still have my Brazilian Rosewood Klipschorns and now the Jubilees with the 402 horns taking up way too much space in my 2 bedroom abode.
