Nice grab gentlemen! I can't imagine what 20db of headroom sounds like on speakers rated at 104db, 1 watt, 1 meter[] Those are some of the finest looking used Crown's I've seen in many years[]

Tubes look fine on that MAC and it probably works just fine, just a little corrosion on the deck! He gives an open invitation to email him with questions. I believe he has a price out beside each item and they are not off an auction but just under classifieds so he is ready to sell and may entertain obo's as well[]

thebes! being a Texan all my life I first want to state Dubya is not a Texan but a wanna be, his whole clan migrated out of that Marths's Vinyard area and them try to call their new local their home, George moved to Texas because he thought everything there was bigger and he obviously fell into that thought pattern but he will never be bigger than that 5'6" frame and no smarter than a frog trying to cross an eight lane highway at rush hour! Second, KC is the ketchup based BBQ sauce region of the country as far as I have ever been able to tell but the next time I go home to Austin I'll go out to the Salt Lick and send you a bottle of sauce that will change your mind or perception of Texas BBQ sauce[] next time I go out to DC to visit my brother I'll look you up and good luck on those amps[H]

Excellent pic Gil, I sure wish I had been a member back then and I know I would have made that Pilgrimage! I had tried to get in to see the factory and meet Paul 3 times since high school! I first stopped by the factory in Aug. 1975 but was turned away by the front office saying no factory tours are done. I stopped by again in 1995 when I lived in Dallas and I got them same story but was given the key to walk the Museum. In late 1997 I moved to Little Rock and stopped by on a Wed. after noon and I had just missed Paul who had been in the front office before leaving on an appointment and I once again wondered through the Museum but still felt sad at missing my opportunity to meet Paul and possibly get a glimpse of the factory but to no avail! But as they say all good things come to those who wait and last years informal visit to the factory in which I had just become a forum member was truly a dream come true for me and I am still very grateful for trey, Chris (his wife), Roy and all the others who took the time just as Paul and Valarie did with your group that I get a little giddy because I finally got to walk the grounds of where it all started and still happens today[] Thank you again for sharing this thread and I look forward to seeing everyone at this years gig[<)]

Trey, I have slept a bunch since last years visit to Hope but if my memory serves me right and Seti can back me up he had asked about hearing this or that and you piped in with the old all you have to do is ask[] How about getting a pair of Jubilee's out at the Ranch on Friday night? Don't want to step on any feet but also seemed like Chris mentioned that he had (1) at the house but I'm not positive....Chris if you see this post! Just thought they could hold the wieght of any bass needed in that great room[] I sure know it sealed the deal for me and my HT mains when Roy lit them up in the demo room, I'll never be the same and you could not sell me 20 sub woofers after hearing Hotel California on those babies[] I'm hoping to have my Industrial Finish LaScalla's back together for the event but no guts and 3 pay checks before then might be a tall order[] All you have to do is ask[:-*]
