I have been extremly happy with my Rega P-1/Ortofon 2M Blue on my Klipsch rig at home, it sounds pretty good with the 2M Red and Shure M97XE which make it about a $500 setup, I personally don't think you can beat this table with RB202 arm for the price. Herb Albert.MOV

Love my old NAD receiver (T763), and I'm currently using it to power my LCR due to the Denon's harshness at higher volumes. NADs just have a wonderful warmth to them; you can find some nice integrated amps on Ebay. Love my T773 driving my Heresys. Effortless. Now I always felt NAD was spot on neutral but maybe a tiny touch of warmth. They are finally getting a wall mount flat panel for Christmas so I guess I'll be giving them some old JBL control monitors for a 5.1 setup

I'm looking around for the best in DAC's myself, the old Pioneer Stable Platter in my EAD Transport still works like a charm but I'm afraid my DSP has been left in the dust as far as DAC's go

It's just another format for us to spend a boatload of cash on to get right! Like Dave says, you want great vinyl playback you have to spend gobs of money to get the best out of the best recorded media and likewise for digital. Sometimes this hobby seems crazy because no matter what you spend nothing is perfect
