  1. First I just gotta ask, I'm starting to notice the larger Synergy speakers like the C-3 and S-3 are no longer in production, so I'm first asking are the Quintet III's still a current Klipsch product? And for my main question, A lot of people recommend the Sub-10 to compliment the Q3's, it seems like a good choice but what about the SVS PB-10, is it too much sub for the Quintets? How does it compare to the Sub-10?
  2. Yes, I have a Bluray player. It's not useless for other people but it would be for me.
  3. According this extensive Bluray PQ list, people think differently. http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=858316
  4. Probably has been discussed before. But did the CS-300 even come out or was it just a prototype? Should be nice to have instead of buying a CS-500 with a useless DVD player.
  5. No Synergy isn't BestBuy exclusive Many Reference/Heritage dealers also sell Synergy, such as Ultimate Electronics.
  6. Trey has some cherry F-2s beside his La Scalas II's
  7. What would be a recommended distance from a wall with a pair of RF-83's, I'm trying to see if I can work them into my room.
  8. Sounds like a good idea, but I can't be that person in my area, I don't have a BB. Moved to the sticks.
  9. There are still a few new sets of RB-75's floating around the internet for $900, would it be a worth while upgrade to get them if I already own F-3s?
  10. Ouch, that link you gave is an unauthorized NAD dealer, with a 1.8 out of 10 store rating, I wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole, I paid the extra to have a warranty. Their NAD stuff is most likely B-Stock / Refurbished The reason I know they are unauthorized is I asked NAD Customer Support.
  11. How about this... How many times can we really listen to DSOTM, I mean it's a great Album, but are 20 different formats really going to make a difference, music is music, enjoy it for what it is. Personally I've listened to DSOTM too many times as to where the only time it's being played is to demo my system to people. And actaully I've lately stopped using it as demo material.
  12. Where was Depeche Modes latest CD "Playing The Angel" recorded? It sounds amazing, simply amazing!
  13. Without a doubt I can tell a huge difference over my previous source which was my PC with an Audigy 2 sound card. Espesually with HDCD's, but it could be just every other CD player I've heard my HDCD's in sucks compared to this NAD. It's also WAY louder then I'm used to, before it was loud but now it's LOUD, I can't even bare to turn it past 1/4. I have no need to play with the tone controls as well, they will stay flat. I'm listening to some Duran Duran right now, sounds beautiful
  14. I had bend over backwards to get some answers out of the place I ordered my NAD C542 CD player from but it finally came today. I'm never again ordering from Harvey Electronics in NY, they may be NAD Authorized but I guess that means nothing in terms of customer service. Now just to wait for my line conditioner to come (from another place)
