Yep....may pop in for a minute but rather see Arnie's tourney.

ACC basketball. Duke and North Carolina square off at 6:30. But I may rather see the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Did I mention pollen? Thick as Beyonce's back side.

Think member DizRotus had a formula similar that he raved about.

Oh that yellow pollen! Went to a huge car gathering "Cars & Coffee" this morning early. Even the Lamborghini was coated with a fine layer. My favorite was a older Corvette....maybe a 58-60 with a very neat LS3 engine swap. Then while on that side of town I surprised LF with an impromptu visit to the tennis court and met the other three ladies. Came home and turned on the system. Pulled out an old CD haven't heard in years J.J. Cale and Eric Clapton "Road to Escondido". Man it sounded great...........

80 here....did a little sunning. Got to keep looking good even at 74 y/o. Just googled fatigue in seniors as lady friend runs circle around me. Too long in the recliner avoiding Covid I guess with little exercise. On the positive side I have tried the Carnivore Diet and have lost 8 pounds in 9 days. 6"2....189 pounds. Having chuck roast tonight with sweet onions.....

I hope everyone remembered to get spiffied up for our birthday party today. I think I see one gent that needs a little more attention to his attire!

Okay you boys get polished up for tomorrow the 9th anniversary of CCC&C. No reading in your skivves and slick your hair back a bit (those that still have hair). A good old time with gifts and prizes some as nice as oldtimers toaster!

Went to the cheap Tuesday matinee yesterday. A Man Called Otto was pretty good. Packed house. A couple of phones went off....annoying. Just another reason I don't own one. Later two martinis and the hot tub!

Rarely miss a night. LF loves it and this is her third hot tub. 3 fingers of Bourbon and 20-30 minutes in the tub and I sleep like a baby.......

So CCC&C will be 9 years old on Feb. 6th. No party planned at this time😐

First day of low carb diet....again. We'll see how it goes. Usually works okay but then that 10 pounds creeps back over time😐 Eight 8 ounce glasses of water takes some doing though.

Jeez....been conversing with a bunch of kids. 74 on January 30th but in better shape than men twice my age.

My day in pics though I forgot to take one of the crab cake benedict for late breakfast.

Just finished prep on the roast. Poked holes and inserted garlic, covered all sides in Kerrygold Irish butter, Susie Q spice blend, garlic and Rosemary blend. Cut off the bone and tied at the butcher's shop. I do the 500 degree method for 30 minutes, turn off oven and do not open the door till 120 internal temp, rest for 30 min. Seems to work well.......

Christmas eve citrus Salmon and tonight's standing rib roast.

Merry Christmas to all the CCC&C gang. Have a great holiday! The LF and I exchange one present each. She gets a 5 pound box of See's candy from California and I got a half gallon of Elijah Craig bourbon. Old CCC&C member minermark got us hooked on the See's when he gifted us a box. All the fixings have been purchased for both big meals so little left to do. Swanky the Norwich Terrier will get prime rib left overs. Winter is here and will be 19 by morning Christmas eve. Landscaping crew worked half a day landscaping by the hot tub deck. Looks good. Cheers........

Hey Dave....I have the PrimaLuna integrated too. Mine is the HP version with 8 power tubes (currently KT-120s). Also have the original octet of EL-34s. No colds or flu here yet. Don't know which of my supplements to credit but I take a ton of them. Maybe it's the vitamin C or Elderberry? Anyway you ailing folks get better soon. LF and I used the new hot tub last night at 38 degrees temp outside. Getting down to 22 degrees Saturday. So what feast are you guys planning? Christmas Eve we are going to copy a recipe I saw on the food channel.....a whole side of Salmon on a bed of Shallots and citrus slices. Picked up a standing rib roast for Christmas day. On sale at Publix for $5.79/lb. Enjoy your coffee.........

KLH speakers was a collaboration of three well known audio guys as I recall. The K was Koss (headphones), L was Lansing (Altec Lansing), and H was Hirsch of Hirsch/Houck Labs. Please excuse spelling.....going by old recollection.

Very nice. I had QS Horn Monos for a long time and regret selling them. Fairly priced and real work horses.

Procedure complete. Went well but they sent me home with a catheter. I took it out at 6:30 this morning. Burns like hell when I pee and that will last a while. Just glad it's over. Growing old is not for sissies..........

It looks like those plastic strings they attach tags to clothing. Like a close line with an upright on either end. Dreading the procedure but it will be good to pee with a strong stream and empty completely so I don't have to get up 3 times a night.

The prostrate grows as we get older pushing on the uretha until you only dribble rather than a full flow. The urilift puts a solid tube through to the bladder and staples each side of the prostrate back. Hopefully you will then be able to put out house fires with the increased force of the stream....kinda like a fire hose🙂

Any of you gents ever had a Urolift procedure? Got one coming up Wednesday. Just looking for a heads up🙂
