  1. I went to a magnolia store just to listen to them the other day. They are pretty cool. But i only heard a pair of bookshelfs beccause i had to get going but they sounding amazing. But when they guy played a movie i think i'd still prefer my rf-82's. But for this clip of diana Krall. Holy cow she sounded like she was sitting right here singing. Just wondering what some of you guys think of those? I just rescently heard of the brand from someone at work.
  2. Ok guys i work at best buy and i just got a pair of rf-82's and i love them. I had a pair of rf-3's and they were great but the new ones are seriously a big difference. Anyways i've seen the two speaker terminals and i've always wondered if best buys amps are capable of biwiring. We sell the HTR series. It says no where on yamahas website that it does or doesn't. I assume it would but i'm not sure. Also i know this is totally off topic but why would anybody even consider the synergy series when the reference is only a few dollars more per speaker. We sell only the synergy but my god they are so much clearer. Probably sounds bad from a best buy employee but i love the reference and i'm so glad magnolia carries them now!I love my new rf-82's.
  3. Hey guys i work at Best Buy and i had a customer tell me that Bose sounds better than klipsch and he thought i got kick backs for always offering klipsch. I simply said no,i mean just listen between the two. Oh look bose has no bass at all. How are some people so obsessed with Bose. When their product is so over priced and doesn't sound nearly as good as other speaker makers.I just don't understand it. Any insight would be appreciated.
  4. Hey guys i heard that you could use vegetable oil for cleaning woofers. My woofers are extremely dirty. I have a pair of old chrous two's that were in my dads garage and i'm nervous about how dirty they are. I'm basically wanting to give them some love and use them again cuz i just moved into a house. You think this is the best way i havn't don eit yet fearing it might now be true.
  5. Anybody ever heard of windows media center xp? I know a guy who has it and it's so cool! You can rip your movies right in your hardrive and play them. It even acts like a tivo!!! But does anybody know what you need to have? I mean a pc obviously but what kind of v-card ect?
  6. Guys i have a pair of kg 5.5's and they are little bit beat up. I paid about 200 bucks for them on ebay and i'm just wondering if i paid to much for them? They sound great still just the cabinets has a corner that is a little smooshed. But i just bought a pair of rf-3's rs-3 rc-3 because i want to have a matching set. I'm also going to sell a kv 2 with them. How much you think i should start the bidding?
  7. Yeah it has a slight crease. I bought last night the whole set for 350 plus a kv 2!!!!! They are in tip top shape too. The cabinets have no scratch's or dents. They sound great even with a small crease. I Love them!!
  8. It's for the whole set. He has like 2 or 3 klipsch systems and he just wants to get rid of them!! I"m gonna of course listen to them first. But is there anything i should check besides sound? I mean like looking at different things?
  9. you think for the money i should just get them and if there is a sound issue i could always buy a new woofer for it couldn't I?
  10. Ok a guy i know is wanting to sell his klipsch rf-3 l system for 350. He bought it back in 2000 and he says there isn't really anything wrong with everything except on the rears, he has no grills, on one of the rf-3's on of the woofer has a small crease in it. However about the crease he says that doesn't effect the sound and i've read reviews that those speakers have issues with doing that. Do any of you think it's a good deal? I think it is as along as they are in descent shape. His center is rc-3 and his rears are a rs-3 i believe. I'm excited, and i hope they are what they say they are.
