  1. I saw them at the New York Consumer Electronics show in 2004....yeah it was a long time ago and yes I forgot alot but they sounded pretty good, I got a hat from them and the guy who runs or is the president or founder of the company was there showing off the gear. He seemed pretty enthusiastic but I suppose he should be. The stuff seemed nice to me anyway, if you do buy some shoot me an e-mail and I'll send you the hat because I haven't and I won't wear it.....
  2. McIntosh McIntosh McIntosh [H] cause you can get a helluva used one for under $3000
  3. Hello What do you need done and where are you located? I am right next to New York state and I haven't converted yet.... John
  4. Or how about picking out a couple of nice 4x8 sheets of the same stuff for like $40 and covering the speakers with them....
  5. Just my .02, I doubt shooting texture on the cabs with a gun will work out; its OK for walls but I don't think it'll hold up too well on the cabinets. In addition, the spackle won't stick as well to the plywood as it would to sheetrock.
  6. OR, how about a high quality panoramic view of the inside of the La Scala opera house for us 'Scala fans? That would be cool...
  7. That would make a great poster. For all the Khorn owners with long walls they should do a long, say 15'x3', "timeline" banner in the same style which would cover the most notable changes and improvements to the Klipsch line. Than at the end they could put the 60th anniversary Khorn so ten years from now we can all laugh about how dated it is.
  8. Wow that would be an extremely cool poster. But I guess if I get one than I'm not allowed to build Khorns to replace the Scalas...
  9. wow these two posts were within seconds of each other....
  10. You'll need a phono preamp to amplify the low level cartrige output to a higher level signal your preamp's aux or tape jack can use. There are many nice phono stages out there around $100 or you could get a cheapie for $20; it of course will not perform as well as a good one.
  11. Or how about a remake of the classic LaScala poster that sold on ebay a while back, went something like this: "with a thirty five watt amp and LaScalas you can rock your apartment" and than at the bottom it said "or the whole building". It read something close to that and the first picture was an apartment building with just one apartment lit up with a party inside and the second picture was of the whole building obviously awake from all the noise.
  12. I did a little room rearranging today and wound up with a huge space above my equipment rack and speakers. So now it looks kind of plain and I was wondering if there are any audio/Klipsch posters out there? I did a Google search but got nothing. Any ideas?
