I was wondering or reading between the lines.... is parking sparse enough that we need to carpool from Hotel row?

There is PLENTY of parking, that's why we are using the airport tower/hangar parking lot.  It's right across the street from The PWK Education Center and the road has no traffic.  The PWK Education Center only has about four to six parking spaces directly in front of the building.

  2. HEADS UP: Thursday's events are being held at the Paul W. Klipsch Education Center. There is no official address for this building. You will need to put "Hope Municipal Airport" into your map app, As you enter the airport property you will see the control tower/hangar off to your right. Please use the parking spaces in the tower/hangar parking lot, as parking is very limited in front of the Paul W. Klipsch Education Center. We will allow vendor/handicap parking ONLY in front of the Education Center. The Education Center is the two story brick building directly across from the hangar/tower parking lot.

I will be updating the Master Attendee List tonight or tomorrow, and I will also post a Tentative Itinerary.  Still have to tweak both of those documents.

  6. I need to work on updating the Master Attendee List, but I'm still gathering info on when everyone will be arriving in Hope.  Please comment in this thread when you plan to arrive, if you haven't already done so.

I have a feeling that based on Christy's visit and talk with the property manager that there will be every effort made to address the issues and bring the place back to their usual good standards.  I still have my reservation there.

The property manager at Super8 is Jessica.  I spoke with her again this morning and she has assured me she will be available for any issues our group may have while staying in Hope.  So, as a recap, call the front desk at Super8 immediately should you have any problems during your stay.  If your issue(s) are not addressed in a proper or timely manner contact Jessica, the property manager.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns feel free to PM me or contact me via my cellphone.

  9. I spoke with the property manager at Super8.  She was very apologetic for the issues during Trey's stay.  She assured me that if anyone has a problem they should call the front desk immediately.  If your issue is not resolved, she is on property from 7am-5pm most days and she would be happy to assist.  I've got her name written down in my notes from this past week and will post her name.

Christy is kind of discouraging it. Evidently there are going to be over 150 people there as of right now and who knows how many in a few weeks. I think they are feeling a bit overwhelmed right now.

I was honestly not trying to discourage it.  I was simply explaining the various activities and  locations for set up at Rodney's.  The limit is 150 attendees.  As of now, once I update the list we are right around 100 or so, including city/county officials, volunteers, KGI employees and attendees.

I'm visiting Hope for the first time this weekend. I hope the museum will be open. I would like to come for the pilgrimage in April. I’m have lumbar fusion surgery March 14th. I’m hoping to be able to make it to Robin Trower concert on 4/20. If I persevere  and my funds hold out I say I will be here!!  Brenda

Museum is not open on the weekends.  I do hope you can attend the Pilgrimage.

Sorry....lots of things happening and I haven't been on here.

It was the up keep. Not as clean as it had been. paint and wall paper coming off the walls in the room.

IF they have changed the beds, it was for the worse.  Has to be the cheapest thing you can buy.

Didn't make it for the food.  Dirt/black stuff in the ice. sticky carpets.

And on this trip, no handicap bathrooms.

This is very disappointing  I will be in Hope the week of March 3 and I will be visiting the Super8 to address these issues.
