I bought a TEAC X7R RTR, black, dbx, very little usage.  I have about 40 pre-recorded tapes and about 30 Maxell XLII  EE Sound Recording Tape.  About 20 are still sealed and the others had been recorded once. I also have the plastic cover for the TEAC.  I have the original boxes and packing.  I won't be using them anymore.  If you know anyone that would be interested in them, please let me know. I'm 70 and I don't have the interest I once had. jdale6@intrstar.net

@dalej1 Please list this in the garage sale section. Thank you.

Thanks Dtel wife for your support. ASAP I will insert a picture of the speaker label. I do not think it is a problem born in transport, there are no signs of blows on the packaging or even on the speaker. It seems not glued! Or the glue gave way when the speaker was already in its shipping box...

This is the reason I ask for pic of the rear label. This is an extremely rare occurrence and that label provides a “wealth of information”.

    Thank you!!!

That's a shame, they will make it right for you. I'll bet that happened during shipping, no way the inspector would miss that. Even though the box doesn't show any sign of abuse, it can still happen.

I am in complete agreement with this comment.

@Ro60 couid you please post a picture of the label on the back of your speakers?

We have visited the Hope,AR facility many times and I have difficulty believing this speaker shipped in this condition. Again, please provide a pic of the label showing serial number, etc.

    Thank you!!!

I am in awe of all of you guys. I just joined, registered whatever so I could express my admiration for your all your efforts to save history. I saved a beautiful 1973 Penn Aluminum Stepvan that was on its way to the scrapyard for aluminum salvage. I've searched for years and have never been able to find another one. I've had offers but I'm afraid that it will get cut up for a food wagon. I wandered into Jerrys Audio in 1980 just to kill some time and a salesman let me listen to a pair of LaScala's. I did'nt even own a car at the time but an hour later I owned a Pair of speakers I had never even heard of before. I bought some old Onkyo amp and proceeded to shock and amaze all my friends and neighbors and relatives and church members! I had to sell them to a close friend who still has them due to severe financial issues. I have been trying to buy them back for years but the jerk is just as addicted to them as I am!  I was able to purchase another set in 1995 so all is well but I have an almost irresistable urge to buy every set I see on the internet. I can't beat the addiction. Another friend just gave me a set of RF-7's and a large Yamaha Amp (yes, I am truly blessed) and hope to combine them as soon as I finish My 900 sq.ft. room addition. I can't wait! I hope I can figure it out. I just wandered into this forum by accident this morning. Funny how life works out. Again, I truly admire you all!

Welcome to the Forum!  Hope you stick around. It can be just as addictive as Klipsch speakers!!!

    Dates?

We do have a tentative date and I will  be confirming the date with Rodney this week.

Rodney had unexpected triple heart bypass surgery last week. He is now home and well on the road to recovery. I just didn’t think it appropriate to confirm the dates with him until he’s a little more “on his feet”!

It’s looking the second weekend in May. Stay tuned.

I've never met Roy, but I hope to. He seems like a genuinely nice guy.

One of the most genuinely nice guys I have ever met. Proud to call him my friend.
