  1. I have forward air here in Albany, New York! Now, what the hell is a Cornwall Vault, or have I missed something??
  2. There is a guy on E-spay right now with no less than three pairs of heresy's. What kind of crap is that? I can't find one decent here in the northeast and this guy has atleast 3 different pairs. I really don't like E-spay, lot of phonies, and always a scammer or two. Hey corvette6769, sell me a pair of yours, it looks like you have a few!
  3. How about a Sony STR D1011 silver. $125.00 will dicker if you pick-up or take care of shipping yourself.Like brand new, USED but not abused.
  4. Let's try another classic for this week; The BAND; Rock of Ages; recorded on New Years Eve '72, in NYC. Wow, horn section, and all. This klipsch-heads is one of the greatest of all-time bands ever assembled. This is a romp through a set of songs just waiting to take off. Great guitar, tight rythmn section, keyboards, and a great horn section that just adds to the overall feel of these great songs. Any band would be thrilled to have two lead vocals, these guys have three. Rich Manuel, Rick Danko, and one of my favorites, drummer Levon Helm, WOW. They at times interconnect like no other band has, all three singing leads on the same song. This really is a powerful set, a joy for the ears. They are better known probably for the Last Waltz, but I feel this is just as good. Any rock collection would be Incomplete without either of these two, althought the Last Waltz is available on Dvd, Rock of Ages is not. It is a GREAT cd!!
  5. Listen all ye old dawgs; Delbert McClinton Live; two cd set;I am an old rock and roll dawg and this is one of the best cd's I have ever heard. The performance is top notch, the band is KILLER, and the sonic quaility is second to none. GREAT, GREAT show. This guy is a true pro. Rock, Blues, Honky tonk, it,s all here. WOW what a set. Your Klipsch speakers will love this cd. Did I mention how GOOD the band is? Treat you ears, and put a smile on your face.
  6. Tell you what, put in Royal Albert Hall, sit in your favorite chair, start the DVD, and CLOSE YOUR EYES !!!! Are you with me yet??? Ooops, forgot one thing Crank It Up!!
  7. Some of thoses 80's hair bands did SUCK but hidden in there are some fine guitar players. Many never to be heard again, and some that will not go away, and some just wasted away.
  8. I bought it new in 94, replaced a Kenwood intergrated amp. Always liked the 120 watt per channel, but wanted a 5.1 reciever, so I retired the unit. The new sony is nice but doesn't sound as powerful as old unit did at the same volume setting.
  9. I do not want to use E-bay or audiogon because you get a lot of he scammer's on there. It would be nice for someone just starting out get this. It is a good deal for the money. If I sell it great, if I don't it sits in the box untill I need it. I just think that someone might be interested in a nice receiver for a nice price on the Klipsch forum.
  10. Anyone looking for an inexpensive receiver. I have a Sony str D 1011 in silver 4 sale. 120 watts rms per channel X 2, it will do dolby surround sound also. I am the only owner and it is brand new quality, and has never been hurt. I have used KG-4s with it and they sound great. I am in Albany N.Y. area and would travel a couple hours to deliver it instead of shipping. I think it is worth $125.00. It just sits here in it's box wanting to be put back in service. The 120 watts does rock real well. NOT JUNK, original box, and manual. What are you waiting for, go for it. NEWGUYS you got to start somewhere, Sony today, KLIPSCH speakers tomorrow
  11. Clapton, Bruce, and Baker still kick ***. In case you forgot, or you were not born yet, CREAM is (was) a blues band, a power trio that played blues. I thought it was good, they can still play, just looked a little old and worn. What did you want from them? It,s been 30 years since they did a concert together. Sometimes after you watch something a couple of times it will come to you how good it really is. Watch it again, just remember it,s not a Metal band, just blues to the max. CLAPTON is God, and HENDRIX the Devil all the rest don,t matter.
  12. They indeed look nice, BUT they are on E-bay. You'll never get them for that price,(everyone waits to the end then runs up the price), then he wants $50. on top of shipping price. Not such a great deal for speakers that old. Just my opinion, I don't trust E-bay!!!!
  13. How about a Sony STR-D1011 receiver rated at 120wX2 this unit is as good as any sansui type unit. $125.00 and you pay shipping or possible pick-up, or I could meet you somewhere. I bought it brand new, and it still looks and performs that way. Just a thought!!! I ran kg4's with this unit, plus a sub nice sounding package.
  14. Frzninvt give me a address or name of dealer in Plattsburgh,, or Burlington,Vt. area, that is in my area I will travel to. I would like to own a brand new set of Heresy2 or 3's they would last till I go to Rock n' Roll heaven (or whatever!). Do you remember the name in Middletown of the Heritage dealer?? Thanx for your imput. I am kindof located on the Vermont border Rutland is less than an hour away, or even Bennington is about the same.
  15. I have done that many, many times and get no answer, that is why I tried the forum.
  16. Where can I buy new Klipsch HERITAGE series speakers? I live in the Albany, N.Y. area, and can not locate a dealer. Any one of you forum people have a set of Heresy,s For Sale? I would be willing to travel up to 4 hours for a nice set. Would like to buy a new set if I could find a Klipsch dealer, anything but E-bay. There are alot of scammers on the bay, not really Klipsch people. Not all E-bayers are bad, just enough to give the good folks a bad name.
  17. I live in upstate N.Y. Albany area, and would like to buy a new set of Heresy 2 or 3's. Buying used stuff from Ebay scares me. Where can I find a Klipsch dealer in this area? I am willing to travel a couple of hours to get them. Any forum viewers have a pair for sale? I would consider buying a used pair from a Klipsch fan, but would still like to find Klipsh dealer in my area.
  18. I had a tumor removed 3 years ago, and to make light of such a thing is wrong! I am an old dawg who at 58 years old finds out that Led Zeppelin, the Who, JIMI, and THE GREATEST ROCK and ROLL BAND in the world, the ROLLING STONES could have given me a tumor is hard to swallow. Given this new info I still would not change what I listen to. ROCK and ROLL is an ATTITUDE not an AGE. Oh by the way, I just saw the STONES live (again), and the tumor has not returned. LONG LIVE ROCK
