Well as much as I hate to say this but, these earbuds sound terrible next to the Koss KSC35 I got yesterday!!! I won't be wasting any more of my time of the Klipsch earbuds they are duds!!!

I have had these for close to 3 years the Klipsch people tell me, one of the batteries has died. I am looking to replace it before I just have to ditch them.

My speakers are pushed into the corners and then toed in and sit exactly 6 " off the side wall, I have enclosed backs also...

Hey Craig, I sorry to hear about your health issues, glad to hear you are better!!! It's been a long time since we talked audio or Baseball, I hope we can catch up some one day soon. So i am thinking about getting this while there is a sale on them, question is I am not planning on using it with my computer. I want to know if I can use it with my ipod and dock? I want to use it as portable take with me setup when i travel and stay in hotels? Does anyone know if I can do this?

This is kind of what scares me about buying the kit Cory sells to put on my khorn bottoms. Like you said alot of your music did not sound very good through the k402 horns. I am worried that I would have that same issue!!! Your thoughts are welcome....

What size in inches do the bass bins measure across the fronts?

I would assume the 8080 is the same as the 4080, so on the far right hand side you have a control that says Limit. Use that control to adjust and or turn off the LED's.

I find this very interesting and a positive sign of the direction I want to go to next!!!

This is my Korneff 45 amp with EML solid plates and 6F8G drivers, I have rewired it to use 6J5 tubes as drivers now what an improvement!!!

If I can figure out how to reduce the pic size I can post pic's of my room???

What is the wattage rating for those two amps?

Hi Maynard, Thanks for the reply, no he has not tried my amp in his system. He has just decided to go to a tubed amp. The info you gave will help he sits about 6'-10' away, loudness varies on the music content. Yes I think I may be bring my spare amp over to let him try it. Jay

My friend has a pair of Cornwall's and wants to get a tube amp, I told him that I like the SET sound so that's what he wants to try. Any advise would be appreciated, I know Cornwall's are rated at 101db but I don't know how many watts would be a good match. He has a small room if that helps.

Well that much I am sure of, how does it sound to your old Khorn setup? What was your Khorn setup before the change to the K402 Horn?

The drivers are mounted on the Volti Audio wooden tractrix flared horns, and the xover is 400hz and 6khz.

Yes they sound awesome I was just curious that I may be able to improve on them with the K402 horns.

According to the specs the 4592 ND goes down to 300hz.

Well I already have the BMS 4592 ND mid only drivers and I al all active using the Xilica 4080...

I was just wondering if anyone here has tried this and if so what were the results? It seems to me that the 402 horn is an improvement over the original horns used in the Khorns? Anyway I am just curious about this in terms of sound quality.
