Craig, my mistake I did mean 299. As it turns out he informs me that it indeed is a 299b.
Also says it's all original no mods, ready to plug and play. I guess I will check it out as is
for a while, and go from there. Thanks for your imput. Jay
I am looking at getting one of these to go with my k-horns, both are nice 7/10 about the same money.
Any thoughts or concerns? This will be my first tube set up.
The pop was not very loud, but loud enough to hear during a low musical passage.
As i stated before i was enjoying a cd when all of a sudden pop from the right channel.
It did not affect the music or the system, everything kept right on playing and it has not
happened again. Would this happen if a cap. went bad in maybe the power amp or
the x-overs in my speakers.
Yesterday while listening to a cd i heard a pop out of one side of my system. It does not seem to have
affected anything that i can tell so far. Does anyone have any clues as to what may have caused this.
Is it possible that the cd itself could have caused this?
Steamer, please give me a better description of the biamping you wrote about. Start from scratch, and explain the things in alittle detail. As i am not farmilar with this.
