  1. I've had my 880 for almost 2 years, I think, and the only problem I'm having is with the volume button. To raise the volume I have it push down in just the right spot on the "+" or else it will go down. Now if I press anywhere on the "-" the volume does go down. So its just with adjusting the volume up. I haven't connected it to update it in a while but I have since this problem started and it didn't fix it. Its fine and I live with it plus I'm the only one to get it to work so no worry about the tv being to loud without me in the room.

  2. I'm in the the same situation, I use Pandora on my Blackberry with my Custom 3. I use it whenever I can like cutting the grass, work, when I just want to relax and not turn any of the systems on.

I have a few stations, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd and some rap stations.

  3. I think if you can to try and build a shelf over the tv. Make it a wedge like piece so you can tilt the speaker down to your listening position, along with a piece of 1x to act as a lip to catch the speaker. With wall anchors, into the wall stud, it will be able to support the 38 lbs of the KLF C7.

If you are really tired of the current TV stand then go with a new one. The biggest problem you are going to find is shelf space that can accommodate the center speakers height. That was my biggest problem with the RC-64. Unless you go with a custom built one, then it will be exactly what you need.

Now some have said that it should be above the tv and a lot have it under. I have always had it under the tv, since that is the only location I can put it. If you have the resources, try it above then try it below and see which you like best. It rig it up below see if you can set it on a box or something for a few days to get it into the right position and listening to it in that same position for a few days.

  4. I have to say after listening to Artto's, member here, SACD player side by side with my Oppo DV-981HD there is no comparison. His stand alone player was hands down the winner. Now is it worth it, I would say if you have a good amount of SACD's then go for it. It also depends on which player you are going with.

How much are you looking to spend on the player?

  5. I have to agree with Groom, take a look at the M97xE. I currently have one on my 160.

Like you I have considered the DL-103R but after cart purchase and the setup purchase it's not an option at the moment.

If you do go this route I would like to hear your opinion on it.
