  1. I would love another set but I need them in black.
  2. When this happens to me, I tell the seller to list it on ebaY with our agreed upon price as the Buy It Now price and let me know what the auction number is. I tell them that I won't be salty if somebody else gets to it before I do but regardless they still get their end of the deal. That way I get to check out who they are, feedback, etc. I've done this several times with absolutely no response. Nada. Zilch.
  3. Dean "refinished" my KG5.5 crossovers and they are now an even mo betta addition to my setup.
  4. Long Version: I removed the crossovers from my set of KG5.5s and sent them to Dean. Dean has done his thing and I have received them, installed them, worked out a tweeter problem not related to them and lastly, have been enjoying them for several weeks.
  5. Dude, I've had the modded crossovers for weeks!
  6. I prefer the 7.1 setup because of the unconventional nature (shape/size) of my area. The 7.1 allows me to be not so fussy about speaker placement. As mentioned above, the is very little source material for 7.1 but I use Logic7 on everything that is not and I love it. The rear surrounds in my setup are RCW-5s.
  7. What Parrot said. That other thread was like being over at avsforum - Deja Vu!
  8. I saw those on Craigslist but I wouldn't know what to do with them.

  10. The remote itself never powers off. The buttons you are referring to are macro buttons. You have to program them as if they were macros even if it is just a one step function. Remotecentral.com has a whole heaps of info on this remote.
  11. I picked up a set KG5.5s and they need a little work. Some of the woofer mounting screw heads have oxidized quite a bit. The screws for the tweeter have also but found those at Lowes. Can someone help identify a source or the nomenclature for this screw. It has a size 6 thread and is 1 inch long. The distintive characteristic that I am having problems with is the head of the screw. The circumference is smaller than a standard pan head screw of this type but at the same time its head is thicker/longer/deeper. I would say the head on this screw is twice a thick as its normal counterpart. A standard screw cannot be used because it won't fit in the ring that "pretties up" the woofer installation. Any help would be appreciated. Thx in advance.
  12. How do I get a set for my KG5.5s?
