  1. I have room litter smaller than that. I run the RF-83,RC-64 and RF-82 for rears. Works great.
  2. I have the RC-64 on the bottom shelf, face straight forward. Mine is not tiped up but I do not have anything sitting on it. I was worried at first not being able to tilt it up. But it worked out well.
  3. Mains and center. Then souronds and last the sub.
  4. I have a Sony 7100ES does a fantastic job powering the RF83,RC64 and RF82 for the rears. I run large speaker setting alway around. No problem with power. Not a cheap recevier tho.
  5. I gree with Bob also. Stay with the RC-62.
  6. I have both the RF-82 and RF-83 did side by side compairson. No contest between the two. The RF-83 were much more refined sound to them. To me the RF-82 smeed a little brighter sounding. I had the RF-83 first and puechesed the RF-82 for rears. I have all my speaker set to Large. I all so have the RC-64 and two Velodyne subs one DLS-5000 and a DD 15.
  7. The RC-64 is great speaker. Very happy with mine.
  8. I have the Velodyne DLS-5000 and the DD-15. They are excellent subs. The DLS-5000 drops fast at 30 HZ but very strong above that. The DD is nothing but awesome dig low and very contoled base. You change the servo gains up or down for HT or music. Alos has the bult in equalizer. Can not go wrong the DD.
  9. Xdetroitx: The RF-82 work realy well for rears. I perfer floor standing speakers in the rear as long as you have room for them. With true HD sound comming on high def movies you will want large rears speakers. Ndskyz- I had the RF-83 for main then bought the RF-82 for the rears. I did I side by side test of the 83s and 82s in my home. I used the A-B switch on my receiver to switch back and forth. Listen to some music and few movies clips. The 82 are good speaker but I perfer sound of the 83 better.
  10. Very nice setup. Looks great.
  11. I have never heard the Ultra 2 system, but I do have the RF-83 and a set of RF-82 for rears. There is large diference in sound between the two. I did a side by side compares to see if the RF-83 were worth the extra cash. They are. The RF-83 are a more refind sound. The RF-82 are a good buy for the money less than half the cost of the 83s. Also have the RC-64 and Velodyne DLS-5000 and DD-15 for the subs.
  12. I have the DLS-5000 and a DD-15 they are good subs. For the money the DLS-5000 is hard to beat.
  13. I have the RF-83 and a Sony 7100ES receiver that works realy well togeather. Just putting in my 2 cents.
  14. That will be good combination. I do have the RF-82 but use them for rears. They sound good for music too.

    2 subs...

I used 2 sub. Had Klipsch KSW-200 and Velodyne DLS-5000. Just picked up a Velodyne DD-15. So now I am using the 2 Velodynes. Klipsch will be move to camp.
  16. Was unable to demo any of the subs I was interest in. So I pickee the Velodyne.
  17. I have been debaitng on what sub to get for a while. Had a Velodyne DLS-5000 and realy like it. Had it down to handfull subs but was unable to demo any of them. Nothing good to demo where Iive. The last 5 on the list was an SVS,Klipsch RT-12d,JL F113,Paradigm servo-15,Velodyne DD-15 and DD-18. DLS-5000 is great sub for the money but does roll off at 30hz. So far that bigest difference between the DD and DLS. The DD-15 does go low. Only had it since Sunday so I am still working working on the setup. Going to try and use both subs. Its easy to get a nice flat hz line with the DD but when you add in the DLS it get more complicated.
  18. You will be happy, I have the same speaker accept for rears. Good choice.
  19. Look into the SXRD XBR 50 or 60 it has better picture than the standard SXRD Sony. I have the SXRD 60 gen 1 excellent tv. No green blob on mine.
  20. I am runnig the RF-83 with a Sony 7100ES receiver and coundn't be happer with them. The RF-83 are a more refined sounding over the new RF-82 that i use for rears.
  21. I have the RC-64 and I can say that it is am exclent center. Have the RF-83 main and Rf-82 rears. The inlaws like the center so much they bought the RC-62 for there center. It does sound good too.
  22. To me there is a huge difference between the RF-83 and RF-82. I have both and did a side by side comparison. The RF-83 are more refined sound. RF-83 a slight more warm sound to them. I had the RF-83 first then purcheaed the RF-82 . I use the RF-82 for my rears.
  23. How does the IR sensor work? Does it have a remote? It's sonething about using a programable remote to use control it ? How does that work if there no remote with it. Not sure what I going to do yet. Thanks for the repleys guys.
  24. Just wondering how it sound and how the ARC(adaptive room correction) works. Did anybody purchase one yet? I don't have an open corner to use. So I would have to put it on a wall. I have chance to buy a demo RSW-15 at a good price. I also considering the SVS PB-plus/2.
