  1. Grizzog, Congratulations on your upcoming child! I'm sorry to see that you had an unexpected result on an ultrasound and I know first-hand how terrible that can feel. I will be praying for and with you that later tests yield different results and that the child continues to grow and develop normally. In the interim, I would encourage you to not focus on the potential difficulties you may have in raising the child and difficulties that the child may have in the future. As things stand right now, you have a child coming and that is a great blessing in itself. If we spend our lives in constant worry about what may be, we simply heap misery on ourselves. While it is possible that some negatives may come out of your child's possible condition, it is also extremely likely that many wonderful positives will come out of this child's life. You have asked for prayer, I also want to offer some Scripture to aid in your comfort. “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. (Matthew 6:25-34 ESV) It is my earnest prayer that these words give you peace and rest as you await the birth of your child!
  2. I am so very sorry to see this news. Tony, my condolences to you, Jan, and his children! I was so proud to know Daddy Dee and always thankful for his kindness and consideration. Though I am sad to hear of his passing, I am rejoicing that he is now celebrating in heaven with the Savior he devoted his life to, and whom he modeled for us here on earth so well. Michael Crites
  3. Tony! So glad to have known you over the years!! Happy Birthday my friend! It's always good to see you and Dee when you get a chance to come visit us at the batcave!

  9. Tin-Foil hats just don't count in this discussion...especially when what's under the hat is well past blown. As to the fuses.....it's not the appearance but what's truly INSIDE that matters. When did you last see a human hair? -BroMike
  10. Here we go with the zener comments again...I see a trip with the old man to the woodshed in your future....
  11. He failed to say I wasn't allowed to answer....so I can say it sure looks like he insulated the Zeners making them not work! Michael
  12. Man, apparently they have gone and changed Ohm's law on me again...I hate it when that happens. Michael
  13. Arky, more like a day late and a dozen fresh ideas short, but who's counting? Last I heard the ZunePhone shuts off and has to be reactivated after three missed calls....They call it "ZunePhone Genuine Advantage"...All approved calls will have to be digitally signed by MS. The good news is that the default ringtone will be a crazed man screaming "Developers! Developers! Developers!"
  14. In an effort to respond to this new device by Apple, MS is scrambling to create a ZunePhone. Details are sketchy at this time, But I have been able to obtain an early Top Secret pre-release photo of the device. No word yet on the capabilities, pricing, or availability, but my sources are saying "soon" and "similarly priced".
  15. Terry, the dust is no more. I loaded the 511 up on the forklift the other day and had the fire dept. come wash it off for me. The local aluminum foundry is trying to buy it's 2007 supply of aluminum and they are currently discussing whether that horn will be enough by itself or if they should buy one of my cast tweeter horns to go with it. Happy New Year!
