Hell of a deal! If I weren't saving for some JTR's I'd be all over this! Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  5. So I finally pulled the trigger on a brand new pair of walnut The Sixes! They're gorgeous to say the least. Blew my JBL 308P MKii's out of the water. These are used mainly as the mains for my office. However, I am disappointed! These are marketed as part of the heritage line, yet they sound more like the reference line. I've owned La Scala 1's, Cornwall 1's, & Forte 1's and The Sixes doesn't have any of it's audible traits, moreso like all of the reference series that I've owned and currently do. Just my opinion, anyways, here's a comparison shot of the old vs new. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  6. Sorry guys but I've been busy and haven't been keeping up with the thread. The LS's has been sold. Thanks. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  7. $old! cash firm. I am located in So Cal. IE area. Need the money and the room. Good condition. All original. More pictures to come. Will also be listing it on Craigslist. **You can also search this forum for the original thread that was created weeks ago for more pictures.** Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  8. Are the new line an improvement over the Studio 5's? Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  9. I almost a purchased a pair when they first came out but ran into a pair of La Scala's and bought those instead. Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't the 590s around $1,000 -$1200 new for a pair back then? I might have to pick up a pair one of these days. Like the OP, I love the way it looks. 10. I love the heritage sound and I have been thinking about grabbing either a pair of rp-160m's, the Sixes, or Heresy's to use in my office. Then, I remembered that I've always wondered how the monitors from DIYSG sound. Since they're all in the same price range, I don't know if I should take a chance on a pair of DIY's or stick with Klipsch. I wish I had the funds to try them all! Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  11. Lately, I've been thinking about trying a set of DIYSG HTM-12 monitors. Reviews for all of their products are also very well received. Has anyone on here personally heard anything from DIYSG? Let me hear your thoughts... Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  12. Here's my 3lbs of beast mode![emoji41][emoji16] Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  13. Can the Oppo replace the Nvidia Shield as far as streaming from a NAS or from a PC? How's the user interface when it comes to that? Are the files easy to access/navigate? Any lag when accessing the files? Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  14. I would wait and get the III's. Seeing how the rp's are smoother than the old rfii series, I think the new 7III's are going to be killer. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  15. I agree with the OP. The 450c simply does not match the rp-280s. The 450c sounds way too small and thin compared to the 280s. Best to probably build a custom center utilizing the same drivers and crossovers from the 280s. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  16. What are the improvements on the III? It's too early, but if anyone heard these, how do they compare to La Scala I's? Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  17. Sorry but they're no longer for sale. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  18. It's not a problem at all. In fact, now you've got me a little curious as well. I'll do it this Sunday and let you know my take on it. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  19. No worries. Honestly, I've never ran the LS's with just the Marantz. The Marantz replaced an Onkyo HT-RC270 which was powering the LS's and then the amp was added. I can tell you that when I was ab'ing the Onkyo and the Emotiva, the Emo gave the LS's a warmer sound which I loved. The Emo will give you tons of headroom given the high sensitivity of Klipsch. As of now, all I can tell you is that I have tons of headroom. The sound stage is wide, deep and huge. If you want, I can do a comparison with and without the Emo this weekend to give you an idea. Sorry I can't be of more help. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  20. Yes. They're for the subs. Two inuke 6000 powering 4 18" Dayton Ultimax's. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  21. Here is the Emotiva. Works perfectly, never had an issue with it. It still has the plastic saran wrap on the face of the led panel which was never removed. I believe I still have the original box for the amp as well. Again if you guys have any questions please feel free to text me at 951-956-9538. Thanks! Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  22. Here they are. They're all original. The "white" marks you see on the side of the cabinets were due to my own fault. When I bought these from it's owner years back I transported it using a ton of bubble wrap and tape. Those "white" marks were from the tape. It took off the stain when I peeled the tape off. There's also a few chips here and there, but overall, it is in very good condition. It was powered by the Emotiva XPA-5 amp and a Marantz sr-6011 receiver. Please text me for faster response. The stain used were by Varathane in Honey Maple. If you have any questions please text me at 951-956-9538. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  23. Oh.... sorry guys! My apologies! I had a rough day at work and didn't really read into the replies. I glanced over it and took it the wrong way. Again, my apologies![emoji16] Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  24. If it doesn't sell I'll just keep them. Why trash my thread. If you have nothing to add leave it alone. You guys are harsh! Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  25. I love them but I have to downsize for now. I will get pictures up later. La Scala's asking $1000 firm. Emotiva - $1000 firm. I am located in the Inland Empire, Southern California. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
