Two 10" woofers,and yes the sub is 15 years old.The potential buyer should like to see the condition of the sourrounds on the woofers.As foam,compressed or not dries with time and becomes more and more fragile(if it is not rubber). Dual 10" similar config to REL larger sub.I doubt this sub is at the same level or close,the REL uses a creative loading and VOLT drivers. Should be a fine music sub for a two channel system.Too often these days all you see is mindless displacement and huge drivers with huge peak to peak travel.

Yes all the lower end Denons,I have had the 5800 series and the 4800 and they were and are made in JAPAN.Thank you very much. All upper class Pioneer are too,my DVAX10 and the flagship receiver is.I can go on and on,but my point is proven. And your point was???? I meant nothing by that.......... My point is that ONLY lower to mid class gear(Denon,Yamaha you name it) is made in China.Any company that has any self respect left manufactures their top of the line gear at HOME.ALWAYS just to say in a quiet way our best is made with pride in the USA,not across the ocean. The quality of these products is lesser,since the quality control is lacking(from the obious)scratches on the top control pod.In the case of the brand new(out of the carton)Klipsch sub I inspected. I sold and assembled/configured more computers/servers you may ever see in your entire life.And the quality control of too many companies operating in China is very MISSING. Taiwan and above all Japan has a near flawless record.Products that are to be sold for a higher amount of money must have strict quality control. You call this snob idiocy! Also I sawand tested a few quite expensive Chinese speakers,looked gorgeous and performed sub par when compared to direct competition from european countries or american(US/Canada)speakers. Plus these cost almost as much as products made here,I am not talking overpriced products made here but priced down to Earth. Compared the JAS Audio Oscar speakers to the Dynaudio Contour S 3.4's,it was a mismatch,the JAS sounded muffled and lacking transparency.So when someone tells me they make it better and cheaper I say Bull S....t.These clowns say so because they have their pathetic business there and they pocket good money from junk sold here at almost the price of local goods.

Just saw the RW10 and 12,identical to the first RW series save for the blue display on top and controls. I see these are made in China,the RW12 had a scratch out of the box on the display pod! I was hoping RT series but they say July,I'll wait. I have a nice warm spor for the RT10 and 12 in the left fron corner now. [] I hope the RT series are made in the USA.

No matter how you look at it or listen to.Klipsch steamrolls B0$e in dynamics,timbre,linearity,low distortion and overall sound quality.Lets not even start with built quality and value. Why start these B0$e VS Klipsch threads? Anyone with a brain,knows for a FACT Klipsch is a mile and a half better than B0$e. It is like comparing a low end Sony receiver to a full Bryston system consisting of a pre/pro and three 9B SST power amps. [:$]

SoundBroker, Some will never understand the need for a 13-$14000 pair of amps,these people do not have the speakers and room to take advantage of these products. What the Bryston 28B SST will be is true world beaters,besting most much more expensive power amps. Trying to sell a $13000 pair of amps to a crowd that buys $500-1000 amps is like forcing a Ferrari to a Hyundai customer.Will not create more sales. The customer who buys these powerful monoblocks owns larger and less efficient speakers that often present a more difficult load to the amp. Oh yes and besides some say all those who spend so much on audio and amps must be compensating for something. []

Matters not what you say or think my Dynaudo Contour speakers are two full quality steps above your boomboxes.Dynaudio is used in studios the world over,and Dynaudio's know how surpasses pretty much all the competition. I do not spit on Klipsch,unlike you.I own many Klipsch speakers and recommend Klipsch to people.You,you say the RSW subs are INFERIOR! What do you own,so far from what I saw very little and nothing to write home about.I can find gear better than yours on the street,come garbage pickup day. Jay, TC Sounds is aserious company,and I am quite sure the top of the line woofer will have top of the line performance.The 3KW RMS rating is only the thermal rating of the voice coils,this could be used for short periods in a very small cabinet where back pressure is higher and when reaching excursion limits of the driver.400 ounce magnets !!! You will leave purple spots on CRT's over 2 meters away [] And with this woofer a Crown K2 bridged mono will provide mucho power to drive even ineficient designs that can handle the power. Cannot wait to see the full specs of these $800 plus woofers from TC Sounds,should send the competition packing. []

The SVS PB2-Ultra is one that will match and best the Watch Dog,match its depth,sub bass quality and best it in output.For how much? Under $2500! And in DIY you can save a bit off the $2500.Or spend $2500 and get two sick TC Sounds 15" woofers and buy a powerful amp for sub duty.

Wilson Watch Dog you say,sure you pay 85% for the cabinet and the name.The 12" woofer is very impressive,has around 3inches of cone travel.May best a TV12,but there is only so much you can do with a single 12" woofer. Get a TC Sounds LMS5400 woofer 15 or18",an outboard Crown K2 amp,a Rane parametric EQ,build your braced to the max cabinet.You have beaten the Watch Dog with absolute ease.Now will it sound better than the Watch Dog,this all depends of your skill integrating the woofer/amp/EQ and cabinet as one. I saw and heard the Wilson,one mighty sub.But the price is inflated greatly by the name and finish and materials used for the cabinet.Not worth $11000 to me.Sell one for $6000 and its a very competitive sub,when facing $5-6K competition.

Did I ever hear of these guys? YOU BET WOW check out these insane woofers,now DIY looks like a must. [] Way to go TC Sounds,the LMS5400 looks from specs like it will be a total animal.Very interesting,buy two LMS5400 series 18" woofers,then a high power Crown with plenty O juice and damping.Build a box and slaughter any comercial sub made for home use.
