  1. Your right, I am not scared of heights, just falling, and that roof is steep, if I fell I would roll off the edge before I could stop myself. I do tend to heal very fast, but it's hard to heal from a foot up your %zz from that fall. it’s not the fall that kills you--it’s the sudden stop.
  2. Hey Fjd--How you been? Man, you found an old post of mine…yikes! our words live on don’t they? Not sure what all the hysteria is about the “don’t call it the private section” of the forum…i’ve been there…didn’t take long for it to turn into a cesspool. Some things just aren’t entertaining so I’ll leave the place to those that enjoy that sort of stuff.
  3. Mike, i saw that same tour…fabulous. i was able several years ago to talk about that revolving stage with Rick Wakeman. That was the Tormato tour. Rick told me that he loved that stage; but, he really liked the revolving stage that they used on the Union Tour (it was much bigger). High calibre musicians those guys.
  4. This Friday and Saturday nights starting at 8:30 Eastern time…in honor of Chris Squire we’re going to have a group play of some of his music. Friday we will feature Close to the Edge; and Saturday we will feature Going for the One. Stop by.
  5. Happy Birthday…hope you are feeling great!
  6. i have a million black shirts…why didn’t i wear a black shirt? Chris had a form of leukemia and had been sick for several months.
  7. alright Elden, i’ll share it. If someone knows how to make it bigger--go for it, i don’t know how.
  8. OH NO…this is tragic. I’ve met Chris…nice guy. So sad to hear this news. Heartbroken. Steve
  9. i’m a Portugee…well half of me is.
  10. How about a tall glass of Lemonade? (Steve ducks while Mark looks for something to throw at him).
  11. Isn’t it weird that Stockton can be a dangerous place. Most people probably have never heard of the place; but, the crime rate is pretty high. You’re totally right Mark--even if Stockton was a wonderful place--I’d chose the Biggest Little City in the World. Heard they closed the Ponderosa in Incline Village. I remember going there as a kid for the Hoss Burger.
  12. what’s the quality of the locally made guitars over in the Phillipines? you can’t go wrong bringing any of those that you mentioned. You know I’m a fan of Taylor; but, that D28 does dig deeper and very nicely too. Is your 812 a cutaway?
  13. Wow, now they’re calling in the big shots. Hope you make it Bruce…any new guitars lately?
  14. yeah On the Riverfront was it. It was cool. I’ll be seeing Ann & Nancy Wilson later this summer.
  15. Todd do you folks still have that festival in the summer…can’t recall what it was called Day on the Green, Day on the River, something…. Visiting a friend in Rockford and he brought me there….Marshall Tuckers was on one corner, The Guess Who on another corner.
  16. you ever watch any Ali G? He had a bit where he’s interviewing Pat Buchanan and he’s keeps referring to WMDs as BLTs. “was it worth fighting a war over BLTs?"
  17. how is this venue? considered a few shows there in the past; but, have never made it.
  18. I was close to my BLT, but had to drop out of school and support the family.
  19. That is true…i don’t like anyone here--i come here only to help.
  20. I just got my 5000 post, 2000 Like coffee mug.
  21. oh, the pressure’s on me now Chuck. You probably should get there before me, because when i roll up Rodney will order the barn doors locked.
  22. sometimes IQ drops with post counts. Probably why Chad wants the new room private--he’s protecting people.
